Enjoyed Robin and team. How awful for Ellen to be killed so horribly.

Yes - awful killing and almost just as bed, left on her own in a heap in an alley way. 😔

Poor Ellen!! What an AWFUL way to die!! This sad story just brings home the point that excessive alcohol and knives are a lethal combination!! Sadly, no tall, dark men have ever given me ANYTHING!! However, a man who called himself Elvis DID slip me £40 while I was stewarding at Midnight Mass one year at church!! He was neither tall and dark, nor did he resemble the famed King Of Rock 'N' Roll!! It was a VERY strange experience!! I greatly enjoyed this Boxing Day treat, Robin and team!! Thank you for your hard work!! ❤👏👍💞🌟

😁Thank you! Glad you liked!🙏 Some of the team visited Spitalfields a few months ago - what a vibrant place! Brick lane - fantastic place and not so very difficult to imagine some 150 years ago. Poor ellen. We do not think she did it to herself. Gosh! You have some interesting stories! Elvis - church - £40! Was this in Scarborough, we wonder? We know that that is where a whole Elvis family resides....😉

Yes - the doctor was rather dismssive and insulting to a whole geograpohic area, wasn't he? We spotted that too! "thats what they do" - unbeleivable he got away with that in court!🤔⚖️

In reference to the ‘Tall Dark Stranger’’. Have you noticed the number of dead bodies found by ‘A Man Walking His Dog’. Perhaps we should add Dog Walking to Cloak Room Attendant as one of the occupations where you have a surprisingly high risk of ending up ‘helping the police with their investigation’.
@newsofthetimes18 күн бұрын
oooooh! yes! 😁The dangers of stumbling across a body whilts "walking the dog" - good one! 🐕🦺And yes, as you had hilariously pointed out before - those poor train luggage handlers and the ominous trunks!😁 But if one is tall and dark, do strange items just fall into your lap? Being neither, I have to wonder...🤔😁
@sonder12218 күн бұрын
@ As long as it wasn’t A Dark and Stormy Night when the merman fell into the ladies possession. The object in question seems to have been a copy of Mr Barnum’s famous Fiji Mermaid. So a tall dark and (handsome) stranger really does fit into Barnums gift of gilding the lily.

This was a very intriguing and yet sad mysterious case of a possible murder of a intoxicated woman. I'm baffled by this case because Ellen's husband says he killed her and yet she said before she died that she stabbed herself. Great investigating, presenting, backstory, illustrations, photos and videos, as well. Take care 🦋

Hmmmm. We think he did it. He certainly knew about the wound and left her bleeding in an alley - he was recognised by the constable of having been in the crowd. We know women often take the blame for being attacked - we think she possibly did not realise she was passing and was trying to protect him. Really sad. 😔 Thank you, as always, for your wonderful support!🙏

She died from what is called cardiac tampanod injury where blood fills the protective sack around the heart and it can no longer beat…only way to save someone is to surgically open the chest and perforate the sack around the heart to drain the blood…usually done without anesthesia in an ER setting! 😮
@lisaalane769418 күн бұрын
I worked as an ER nurse. I had one patient with this, but not from a stabbing, I dont remember what caused it. What amazed me was the Dr walked into her room took one look at her and diagnosed her.!! He inserted a needle and drew off at least some of the blood. She lived to be transferred to a higher level of care. People would complain about his bedside manner, but I was always like he would be my #1 pick to care for me.

As always I very much enjoyed your video. Case 1 was a very sad and tragic case. I do believe that the outcome of the trial was the right one. But it was a very strange case. She said that the wound was self infected. He said that he had stabed her. Husband and wife and witness were all very drunk. Along with the fact that she hung on so long without medical care even surprised the doctor. Agatha Christy would have done a story that she was stabed after she got to the jail with a very convoluted back story. Maybe something involving spies. Case 2 also very strange it's not a wonder that the extent didn't come to retrieve the " merman 🧜♂️ " . I liked your comment about it always being a tall dark man. The poor lady must have had a frightening experience. I wonder just what ever happened to the thing. Maybe a side show? They were popular back then. R.C. and team l thank you all for your hard work putting out these videos for us to enjoy it's a highlight of my day when I see you have posted from one of your channels. Sending you all best wishes for the new year.

Thank you Brian! 🙏 We always look forward to hearing from you!😁Yes, the poor woman! We noted with distaste the doctor's snobby attitude towards the woman and "her class". We reckon he had done it and she, for whatever reason, took responsibility. But surely if she had done it to herself would most likely have the knife? Also, he was there in the crowd when she was being lifted up - but he said nothing. There is guilt there of one kind or another! The shrunken merman! poor woman - one can picture her running full force away from her house! It is quite true at the time there was a real belief in "cursed objects" and she probably thought she and the house were doomed! Thank you, as always Brian! Very festive greetings to your good self!🎄🎇❄️

Thank you. I think the tall dark stranger might be related to my toe-rag neighbour down the road who keeps vandalising my car, and throwing dead animals over my gate - half rat half bird, glued together. He wants to be king of the street but in fact, is King of the Morons 😖
