Just chosen team friends, two reasons for this one. One I don’t choose the team theme just the ink colour ( I like cool colours ) so blue. Two Shiver looked so sad on the Splatfest announcement. Good luck to everyone and have fun.

Imagine this fest had a funny mechanic where team family only has their same species on their team, team friend can only queue up with friends, and team solo just has a 1v4 or something

I'm on team Family solely because all my friends are busy during the holidays, so I only get to spend Christmas with my family. Plus, Frye has been robbed of a win twice in a row now; its time to give her one!

You can choose friends, you can’t choose the family you were born into/chosen by! I’ll spend the first day of Christmas (next Monday) with my family, but it’s more out of obligation than out of love for them (plus it means I won’t have to cook dinner myself that day). I’ll spend New Years with my BFF, the days leading up to it I’ll already be there, watching movies together and playing video games, just hanging out together, starting the new year right. I hope this year I can make oliebollen again with her mom! It’s always fun to fry those up and take some home with us to enjoy when the countdown happens!

There’s a very realistic chance I’ll be on team family again, because that’s what I chose in Splatoon 2…but it might be worth it to join team friend as well! I don’t think I’ll choose team solo though.

If team friends wants to win, then you will have to annihilate all families in Splatoon, that way everyone will be forced to make friends, as they won’t have families anymore, and then pick off all the solo people as they will not be able to fight 1 v multiples. It’s a perfect plan.

Sadly I don’t have any friends. None. Zilch. Zero. And celebrating solo sounds freaking lonely. This is why I’m going Team Family. I’m very close to my family; we fully support each other and when we don’t, we try to work it through. Besides, what other option do I have? I’m already celebrating the holidays with my family irl, (I always have), and I’ll continue to do so. So that’s why I’m going for Team Family. However I do wish for the best for everyone else, no matter what team you’re on.
