Our weather all last week was pretty miserable. ...120 deg.F. in daytime, 112 F at night. It's finally cooled down to 110 F in the day and upper 80's at night. Southern Nevada U.S. I just put that in incase you might find it interesting about what's going on in other places where your viewers are. Very darling to make Angel's cookies heart shaped. Lovely video Dale! Are these your home-grown pumpkins? They freeze very well after roasting but I have found they store and keep very well as long as you keep them in a dry cool place. Pumpkins are fun to grow and you always get to many, so starting a small gourmet dog biscuit range could be a whole new career. The heart shapes are great too - Dale's Delicious Dog Delights - Baked with Love. I've got an angel cutter too for Christmas biscuits so that could be another range; Angel's Seraphic Sweetmeats. BTW Summer Squash, Melon and other pumpkin types, in particular the seeds are a natural cure and preventative for internal parasites in poultry. Much love from Normandie, Sue
@DaleCalderCampobello7 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately it is store bought pumpkin. I had something attack all of my squash/pumpkin last year and I lost a lot of them. It was like a fruit fly sting which I have never seen here before each one was stung many times and would quickly spoil if I had know what was going on I could have cooked and frozen them. I'm thinking of putting each one in a plastic bag this year as soon as they are pollinated to protect them, assuming it is a flying insect. LOL I like your suggestions. I feed the hens all of the over grown summer squash.

They are really relaxing to watch and even to listen to if I am busy doing something else. I hope you won't mind if I ask you a question....what is the purpose of your adorable cabin when it's not far from your beautiful home? Is it just because of the simplicity of it? I hope you don't mind my curiosity. Blessings! PS: How long do you bake Angel's biscuits and at what temp?

The recipe that I use is 1 cup of pure pumpkin, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of oats, 3 cups of whole wheat flour, 3 tablespoons of peanut butter, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. If too dry I add more pumpkin. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Hope Mario likes them.

I've enjoyed your videos immensely. There seems to be quite a bit of information about you on the net. I also lived in Virginia for many years and enjoyed the Chesapeake Bay. I noticed you use a Coleman stove like the one I have. I saw that it doesn't like to simmer. It was like the knob was 'rubbery' which made it hard to control. I found the fix for it on one of the Amazon reviews. I thought you might like to try it as well. It only takes a few minutes and makes a world of difference in the stove. I'll provide a link below. Thanks for taking the time to share your projects and your life in the Northeast. Quite different than living in Phoenix Arizona. Your manner of speech is very comfortable and enjoyable to listen to. Sorry to bother you Dale but you have so many videos I don't know which was the last one you put the link on. Could you put the link here on where to buy the adapter.
Good video Dale my vet showed me me how to relieve the problem with anal glands but i said i will just bring him back and let him practice his trade! thanks!

LOL I completely agree even though my vet charges a fortune for every visit. The pumpkin has really solved the issue.

@DaleCalderCampobello7 жыл бұрын
Zain, I'm not even sure what that is.

Dale Calder Just normal pizza, made in a stove instead of a modern oven. that's all

I did a search and it seems to be called a skillet pizza too looks like something that would be fun to try out at the cabin.

More questions: is Bob battery op.? How do you think he would work on bare floors? Do you ever get balls of Angles hair & how does Bob do with them (if you have them)? I will use the pumpkin puree for my one dog that gets anal gland trouble also. My little girl dashound gets constipated, it may help them both, thanks for that tip!!!!!!!!! Maybe try spraying the cookie cutter with Pam spray or dip cutter into water before cutting out cookie. LOL Judie

I suppose there is a large battery inside that recharges when he goes home and plugs himself in. He works fine on all surfaces and cleans up all of the dog hair every morning at 8am.
