“Giddy” absolutely described me finally harvesting the first of so many Campari tomatoes on my plants. I started seedlings from a supermarket Campari tomato and ended up with 100 plants!! I chose 7 to plant in the ground and about 25 are in pots. I also plaited my iris foliage as I saw you do - so tidy and interesting looking.

Congratulations on the potato harvest. Looking good. I hope they tasted nice. Your garden looks so lovely so many colours. I got brave and bought myself a power tool Catherine, I used it this morning to fix some wood on the fence. It was rotten in places so I got some lengths of wood and sawed the right sizes and got them put on. I creosoted the fresh wood and did the bottom part of the fence in the garden. Need to get a wiggle on and do the rest. Lol been so warm here but we are meant to be getting rain next week sometime.

Bravo, Catherine! Potatoes are so fun to find. Buried treasure! We also dug up our first potato bed. Nothing beats a fresh potato shredded into hashbrowns for breakfast, at least, that’s my opinion. :) Some winter squash is trickling in too. Such a blessed time of year. Nature sharing with us her bounty. I’m preparing for a second round of scallions, sun flowers, and other autumn crops. The excitment continues!

Hi 👋 Catherine. When your sunflowers 🌻 are ready for harvest ,keep a few heads for the birds. Just tie a bit of twine around the stakes where you cut and hang whole heads upside down either from your tree or I like to place them on a nail in my kitchen window frame so I can see the birds hanging upside down getting the seeds from my kitchen table while I have my meals.🐦

Giirrll..I have been up to my ears harvesting & canning green beans, tomatoes, potatoes plus jams & jellies of all varieties 🥵! Of course, all the hard work pays when your pantry is full because of your dedication & love. You could easily preserve your extra potatoes & use them for soups, stews, roasts, the list is never ending, lol. The pop of yellow definitely brought some sunshine to the front border & when the roses flush again it’s going to be stunnin! Have a wonderful week 🤗💜🙏🏻!
