There's an old Spanish saying: "Cria cuervos y te arrancarán los ojos". Raise crows and they will pulled your eyes out. In other words you can raise a child and you can surely be surprised of what they are capable of doing. Unfortunately, parents are not raising children with a structure and base. Religion and faith plays an important part in child's life. With all respect, even though many don't believe in it. As long as you don't go to the extremes. Faith can help immensely. My oldest son who is almost 40 now, he has had mental health issues since he was a teenager. My ex-husband encouraged the abusive behavior toward me and his siblings. I was the one who called the police several times. The police officers were like the father that he should have had for discipline. They were always on my side. My ex husband had a horrible reputation. My son did great for a long time. Then unfortunately, he got involved with a couple of criminal women. It is not ending well. I went to the police about some of the things they were involved in. He is not permitted back in my home or around us. My ex-husband think that's just wonderful. It's very sickening!

@user-dw4cs4xv8y Then that's your choice and your loss. I just saw a story on an 8 yr. old girl that has a degenerative eye disease, and she just became blind as an 8th grader. They showed the love and compassion her fellow classmates had for her, and you know what that girl said? " I thank God He gave me sight to see the world and my family for a time." I hope you change your mind.

But if you're in the wrong, you're going to face your consequences." In turn, I taught my daughter the same exact thing. I was never one of those kids that were taught growing up that they can do NO wrong and the parents will always bail them out. I knew if I ever got arrested for something that I did and was in the wrong, not to even bother calling my parents. They for sure would have left my sorry behind sitting in the jail cell all night.

A complete stranger but neighbor.. she is asking the state of California to release her early, and they gave her a court date. 😱 Only got 16 years to begin with. I was her 2nd random stabbed (aka hate crime), her family filmed it (luckily for me in the end, the investigaters used it in court) she was only out of prison for 2 months from her first release to when she did it again to me. Stabbed 7 times, cut from my ribs to my pelvis, my leg and arm still hurt, still have problems 6 year later (now). She had absolutely nothing to give, I never sewed, I lost my home, car, bills that didn't get covered by the "victim witness program". @@TheMomseloc I think it's odd that this one person has made the same comment multiple times in response to people pointing out that he's guilty, which seems odd to me. As for evidence the mother is trying to avoid her son being identified as the perpetrator, the mom takes him to the home where her niece is (or was) enjoying her honeymoon for starters. Either she has no boundaries or respect for others, or she's desperate to avoid the police, knowing that the drawing and description could identify her son, as could the camera footage. She gets her son's hair cut very short. This indicates that she is leaving the area to keep him from being questioned or arrested for the crime.

They all should have been charged with aiding and abetting. I don’t believe they were trying to protect their child. Any caring person would check their kid into a psychiatric hospital if this was the first time he was ever violent and something snapped. They defaulted to COVER UP because they have covered for him in the past. This is why he doesn’t have a criminal record; it’s not the first time he’s been violent, it’s the first time his parents couldn’t get him COMPLETELY off the hook. Then they refuse to pay damages to this woman who has suffered so much because of their son. That’s because they weren’t just trying to protect the kid, they were trying to protect their OWN reputations and wealth. That poisonous apple didn’t fall far from that rotten family tree. It good that that woman had the sense to call the police about “the rumor going around within the family” there is at least one person with some decency, but I’m sure she was concerned for her own safety; as well she should have been, but whatever her motives I’m glad she did. I think the police would have figured it out, there were plenty of witnesses, but he probably would have been in a country without an extradition treaty with the US by then.
