Thanks for this. Was interesting but you didn’t mention at all the LGBTQ+ social, historical and literary contexts, which is so central to TW as a foremost gay playwright. Queer literary theory is shockingly absent from your report and yet it lies at the heart of this play. Missed opportunity.
