sh. Bakr Abu Zaid , has kitab Ilyah Talib ilm, read Shar ibn Uthaymin or listen to it. asl of seeking knowledge is take it from scholars who tell you what's in the books. Who enters knowledge by himself leaves by himself or no ilm. You won't know if your understanding is right or wrong. read small books in every feild, nahu ajrumiyah, asar muktasiray hanbali... scholars are to unlock the books, 1 in every science... then build up each level with a scholar, then read big books to not mix up the sciences. Imam Shatibi Rahimhullah, has book intisam, a reference point for scholars. his book Mwafiqat has mukhsit sharia, knowledge used to be in chests like Quran says fi Sudurihim... it was moved to the book, keys is in the scholars hands. the one who hasn't studied talk to teachers first. This video is for talib ilm. seeking ilm is 3 pillars, hifth, fahm or understanding and qiraa or reading. 10 :00 - to express yourself in speech or write is a blessing. Communicate properly. Allah taught mankind speech in Surah 55, ibn Qayyim Mifta Dari Saada, talks about importance or being driven to seek ilm. have ilm and drive. writing preserved our din. Mahmud Shakir said I read this as a teenager... said I read tafsir, geography language a& dicitionary etc. Then He came kitab Mutanabi which King Faisal praised... Abdul Karim Al Qudayra before he was selected for Lajna Daiimah, he said I have to finish books before joining...
