Our economy is fine .don't use the word Crisis , it's a misnomer used by your Tv channel's. As of now we have 38 billons dollar in our reserve. And our foreign debt is around 14% of our GDP . Because of the current doller interest hike by U.S. gov't. and global inflation bangladesh government taking this loan to keep the reserve intake to cover the financial deficits of the 2021 to 2022 budged. And Bangladesh took loan almost every financial year which amounted around 5 billion. From ADB ,JACA,. This year we just changed our loan provider Bank that's it. And in this year our GDP growth is around 7.25 % which highest among the Asian counties. let's hope for a good future of south asian countries .

That positive coverages are entirely PR. Bangladesh's economic growth is corruption-driven growth with fragile productivity. Their wealth creation has only 2 sources, remittance, and garments exports. Garments hold 84% of their total export and recent global supply chain turmoil tanked their income. Bangladesh's economy is now hanging on remittance. It is shrinking with the global recession. Awami League's economic policy is like Pakistan's economic policy. No new economic driver, no new industry for wealth creation. They are taking huge international debts to fund extremely corrupted megaprojects. For example, the $1.1B Padma bridge took $3.6B to complete. This black money entered the local economy driving the per capita GDP. $3b Russian nuclear power plant similar to Indian nuclear plant cost $13b. Previous 12 years Awami League took over $131b in foreign debt. They didn't create any wealth-generating industry, they plundered. Internal debt is over $150b. #ThePrint The elimination of GST exemption for scientific equipment should be documented in a film. Obtaining financing for any type of research is difficult enough in India . In order to pursue a career in academics, most students from IIT Delhi travel outside India. The problem would only get worse if we didn't currently spend just 0.6 percent of our budget on research. There isn't a strong anti Indian sentiment in Mauritius. In fact, majority of Mauritians, n ths include Hindus n non Hindus, respect India. A very tiny minority may not feel same abt India n ths has got nothing to do with China. The feel abt India has always been same since independence. But when it comes to the sovereignty of Mauritius, interference in our domestic affairs and privacy of our data's, on this issue, whether its Indian or frm any other country, Mauritians have the right to veto. The BIOT issue, has been questioned since independence by the MMM. Why did Mauritius allowed our sovereignty to be partioned. Similarly India was partioned as part of the deal, to access independence. British of divide n rule policy * Yes, why was China allowed to install a connection to the safe cable, in the first instance is a major question. N, not forget, at tht time too, Mauritius had strong connection with India, in particular over the Indian ocean security, n India must hve known abt the Chinese connection, with the approval of the Mauritian government n didn't object or raised clear concerns at the time. The Mauritian government has to answer now. N, this access fr the Chinese to access the *safe*, cable appears to hve been kept well, under the carpet so far. The head of the then government and telecoms department in Mauritius, will surely be questioned. Why did the consortium who owns the *safe *, didn't object to China's interference, needs to be investigated too. As a Hindu Mauritian, I can assure you that there is no strong anti Indian sentiments, the Chinese or whoever can't influence our feel towards India, but I do question on this particular issue, the reasons of the Indian presence at Baie de Jacotet.

Follies were visible right from the beginning. Even after the "Himalayan" sized China blunder, no effort was made to re-assess our geopolitics. Mauritian here. Reading the comments, I think there's some misunderstandings here and there. Sino-Mauritians came to Mauritius before the Communist Revolution in China and chinese mauritians who are business minded people don't have a very favourable view of the CCP. China doesn't encourage any anti indian feelings in Mauritius either. The anti-indian feelings sometimes come from Muslims, for obvious reasons, but mostly from creole mauritians of african descent who feel left out by economic development. Historically, franco-mauritians of french descent have indulged in viscious anti-indian bashing especially before independence. During colonial times, the British protected indians from the french colonisers ! France itself does not indulge in indian bashing.
@toutcrak58132 жыл бұрын
Also what is often displayed as India- Bashing, is in fact a resentment of Mauritian-bashing entertained by our own leaders (more beggars than leaders), who publicly denigrate mauritian IT technicians, national security agents, manual workers and run to India to seek help, instead of investing in proper tools and training to endeavour a national sovereignty . The metro/ tramway project is an example where only experts should have been hired to train locals to develop railway transport gradually across the island, and eventually in other regional islands. This lack of vision is now at the expense of a already not so healthy balance of payments, as the entire project has to be subsidised for years to come, and the huge debt is yet to be paid.

The lesson which world has still not learnt is whatever comes cheap is in reality very expensive.... Sorry to say , but Europe and US deserve to suffer the Chinese machinations.

I don't think any clutter was cut today. I thought that as soon as SG was going to unravel the mystery, the transmission was cut. This is exactly what happens in the spy thrillers 😃 Hope you are fine SG 🙏

@@vayuputra2618 offcourse u are mauritian but don't kill hindus like u did in fiji. The thing is maritus was saved on time by indra ji. Muslim of Indian origin in Mauritius with help of African and left was asking for genocide of HINDU'S in Mauritius and i have seen u spreading propoganda about INDIA and military base. Mauritius is close to us and is our brothers like Bhutan Nepal Sri Lanka Mayanmar and last but not the least Mauritius we are like pandyas and Krishna.

@@bobo6959 I am a human, my duty lies with my motherland and people. Religion is the last thing. There is no war in Mauritius and has never been and there will never be. The only one that can happen is if Modi’s tactic of division is used in Mauritius. The British owned Mauritius, Diego Garcia wasnt part of Independance. Thats the truth. We have been wanting to get Diego Garcia back for only one reason to give it back to India to heighten its presence in the Indian Ocean. The one who controls Indian Ocean controls Asia. But alas the Clowns in this government forget the treaty. The current Prime Minister now gave India an island called Agalega to India to build a Military base and that too hidden from the eyes of the Mauritian public in opacity. Why monger war? Had India been a better and responsible country if wouldnt drag Mauritius into its wars with China. May I remind you we are a multi cultural island with our own identity and character. Do not woo us about Religion, the only religion that exists is humanity and we have failed at that too, and badly.

@@bobo6959 Am Mauritian and know things better than you do. Dnt accuse me of lying when you know nada. You have the typical crooked mentality. You are the one lying. Coming up with stories about indira saving Mauritius bla bla bla. Accept the fact that India has taken advantage of religion to pursue a war with China. Thats the truth and you want to piggyback Mauritians to fight a war with China. You are the liar. Prove what I lied about?

The Indian government has to reprimand all the media companies to not comment on or mention military strategies. Indian media is reckless anyways. Imagine their recklessness jeopardising our national security by overhyping or revealing something that should've otherwise been a state secret.

The Indian government has to be proactive like the Chinese have and preempt the moves made by our adversaries. For far too long India has been bogged down by playing internal politics.

As long as they provide us some Jets, helicopters or better technologies that helps to fight DRUGS etc Yeah I totally dig it. 😍😍😍
