Fun fact. Malachi talking about tithes and offerings was not talking about giving the tithe. Nope. In fact it was a commandment to the priests begging at chapter 2. And it was to the priests who took the tithes and offerings away from the storehouse. We read the exact context in the book of Nehemiah. So the lie that you are cursed for not tithing is very very wrong and easily disproven.

I can tell you this. God has truly blessed me for paying my tithes. I recommend doing so. There is other places in the Word that tell us to do so.

Can you please help me out on understanding what Son of God really means and how it affected the relationship before the incarnation since Jesus was eternally the Son of God. Some sermon I watch pastors (for example purposes) would have Jesus referring to the Father as Dad before the Incarnation. I used to think that the Dad Son role was a role Jesus took upon himself at the incarnation to be an example for us. Please if you have time can you help me out. And I do submit to the trinity I just need clarification on the Son of God role before the incarnation. And secondly I was watch a live on Sam shamoun channel about how the Father became Jesus's God since Jesus added a fleshly nature to himself and the Bible teaches that the Father is God of all flesh. Someone then asked if the Holy Spirit would then become Jesus's God also and Sam said no. If you have time helping me out on this issue also it would be much appreciated. Keep up the good work God bless you.

I don't know if I can clear everything up, but I hope to clear the Father/Son confusion. The names Father and Son are confusing but they're more of roles they hold. The Son is God and the Father is God, but they are two separate parts of God. I'll use an analogy of our two hands. Our arms and hands (The Father), are our arms and hands, but they are part of us. Our legs and feet (The Son), are our legs and feet, but they are part of us. Both our arms and hands and legs and feet are part of us, a human. In this way, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are the three parts of one God. They are all equal and they are all part of the same God, but they are three parts of God who serve three separate functions. Before the incarnation of Jesus on this earth, He was still the Son of God, but was probably spirit instead of a physical person. And Jesus as spirit was with the Father since the beginning of time before His incarnation. And I suppose as we speak He is spirit until His second coming. Although this is just speculation that He's spirit, He very well could be a physical person right now. Either way, He's always been the Son of the Father and part of the triune God.

So Malachi is not telling future christians to tithe or be cursed?
@willpowerstrengthandfitnes67732 жыл бұрын
No he is not. So many People use Malachi 3 to get people to tithe. Our giving is what matters. Not a percentage. We should start teaching others to go above and beyond for the Lord.
@johnceda Жыл бұрын
Nope. In fact the commandments was to the priests taking the tithe out of the storehouse. Not about giving a tithe. More context can be found in the book of Nehemiah chapter 13

Prosperity preachers twist this scripture to get people to give. This is for Israel, those under Messianic law not New Testament Christians.

How long is the test of God though?? I’ve been tithing a loooong time without experiencing the fulfillment of God’s Promise to open the flood gates.

I would recommend reading the book of James to better understand the blessings of God, in particular James chapter 4 verse 3 comes to mind
@johnceda Жыл бұрын
You won't ever see it. Because you completely misunderstood the scripture. It's not to you, it's to the priests. And it has nothing to do with giving tithes. It simply doesn't apply to you at all.
@michaelmerck75769 ай бұрын
You haven't been farming in Israel so the floodgates of rain for the crops spoken of in malachi didn't help you get more money because God never promised that to you and He didn't require a money tithe so there is not an expectation of that

Hum it seems like Malachi came to the temples to rebukes the priest for complaints and stealing the Tithes and from the Offering. And Malachi express the fact the reason why the people of 48 units are complaining is because they know what's happening in the church and that why Malachi say O'ye priest this command is for YOU, and " Your Lips should contain wisdom" For it was the priest there were stealing and tipping the scales. MY humble apology .But just out of curiosity , Have you notice that no ministers preach the 7 seven year of year in connection with tithes? Or the fact that in Leviticus GOD told Moes that these commandment were for the children of Israel in " MT SInai
