@aehrlynn2 жыл бұрын
I'm starting to just read Malachi and when I'm done I've reached my goal to finally reading the whole Bible both Old and New Testament 🙂 Edit: Hello, this comment was posted 2 yrs ago, and I wanna let you guys know that I didn't stop there. I continue to reread and observe it again like i have before. I know simply reading it will not make any changes unless I apply it to my life and pray about it. I'm sorry if my comment made it sound like I was bragging, that was not my intention. I felt like sharing back then because I was thankful that through Gods power, He allowed me to reach the goal to finish reading it. It was also my way of encouraging others to read their Bible and that it's not impossible to read it all especially if you struggle with reading like myself. The bible is transformative and is crucial is the Christian life so I'll never stop reading it. I'll keep on going to build my relationship with God

MultiTacs Thats Why You Read The Bible Yourself?? Why You Depend on Other People to Tell You The Word?? Open The Bible Yourself and Read The Word. Bible Project is Just Giving You That Head Start, Especially For None Believers That Think The Bible is Just a Boring Text Book, These Videos Should Give People That Interest to Know More About Scripture. I Feel Bad For You if You’re Expect These Videos to Give You Every Detail of The Bible, They Call it “Overview” For a Reason.

Marge719 i agree , but there’s no need for people to call out bible project if they giving us the best way to understand the Bible. People expect perfection word for word, like take money out of your own pockets and build your own “overview” cuz what Bible project is doing is not cheap either. In other words be grateful for what Bible project is giving us, if people don’t like it, then stop being lazy and read the Bible yourself. Btw I’m speaking in General.

An interesting note about the name Malachi: The name "Malachi" means "my messenger" (or "messenger of (the Lord) according to sources naming him "Malachias" (2 Esd. 1:40). Not only is this interesting because Malachi brings a message from God because he's a prophet, it also opens up a wordplay in 3:1 "Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare tbe way before me." (ESV). This messager is later revealed in the NT to be John the Baptist pointing straight to Jesus. So Malachi is "messenger", delivering not only a message from God, but one about a new "Elijah/messenger" who is John the Baptist. Lots of foreshadowing and 'unified story'-ness going on in this book!
