Last weekend we decided to go for a drive outside of the city and enjoy some nature with friends. The only thing that interrupted our peaceful picnic with friends was what Russia did the night's before.

Beautiful and they drive on the same side as here in the US.😊 Looks so enjoyable. The Dnieper River, so refreshing. Such unspoiled scenery where new meets old. The weather too, looks very comfortable.🌤 It's a shame that the small towns near Kyiv that once were the jewels of Ukraine, are devastated beyond recognition...Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel.😔 Слава Україні Героям Слава 🇺🇲

A picnic, at least in Ukraine implies a celebration. Having a topless celebration with a wide grin while there are corpses floating down the river not far from there and people losing their houses and many drowning does not look good, imho. If I were you, I'd show more sensitivity. All these things you do are great, but your huge smiles in such moments are a bit out of place, imo. Normal life is different from what appears to be a celebration. Your latest video about a bombed out supermarket in which people died also was advertised with another happy smile. It appears to some people that you are rejoicing at the death/ destruction. A calm face would be more appropriate. This reminds me of a group of envoys from a certain SE Asian country who were in Germany and who stood at the Holocaust memorials while smiling widely. Totally insensitive.

I assume Johnny knows he needs to go on a diet. I just supported my wife, by eating radish, gem lettuce and tomatoes. She had croutons and olives too. I had mayo and a piece of dark chocolate (with Earl Grey). I am 6 foot, 13.5 stone and nearing 50. My d6 is about to be pulled too, due to an assault 30 years ago. I am apprehensive about eating. My daughter’s friend’s father and my church friend died outside Kidbrooke station 2 months ago. He was 38. He played front in amateur South African rugby when he was 22 etc. I talked to him about trying to diet etc a year ago, but I didn’t say he needed to diet. But it was there. He ate so much over Xmas, I was concerned. I miss him. He had two jokes. Why are you eating that? It’s nacho lunch. In a foreign accent, you say, I am from Oxford, can you not tell by my accent. I was not close enough for him to tell me jokes. He was an accountant. But he put up the Xmas decorations and helped to make the coffee. He was kind.

You should explore Kyiv a bit more by going somewhere outside the downtown area of Bessarabska square/Khreshatyk street. It's not dangerous to go to other districts, Kyiv is a safe city nowadays (in terms of crime situation). Here are a few places for you to visit: 1. Family park at vdnh kyiv. That's the place where average Ukrainians like to spend their weekends with families. Best to visit it on weekend daytime. 2. "Natalka" Park and Obolon embankment street - also a nice place to walk and spend time at. Take an uber to Golf Center and from there you can go either left or right direction. 3. A few nice restaurants right on the Dnipro River: Mayak, Villa Riviera, Veranda, Prichal, Havana 4. A few places to party/spend time in a pool during summer: Osocor Residence Sobi Club 5. Kyiv Food Market and bar "Molodist" (best time to visit Fri or Sat evening

I am not a doctor or medical professional. Seek a medical professional for medical advice. If I have a leg cramp I realize I haven't been drinking enough hydrating fluids that are healthy. I'll drink some fluids to get hydrated if I have a leg cramp. When one works out and perspires a lot one can become dehydrated and cause leg and foot cramps. So when I know I am going to work on my garden I'll make sure that early in the morning I have some fluids like a green smoothie, about 1 cup of coffee and no more than 2 cups and a tall glass of water with lemon and ACV with an early morning 7amish breakfast that is sunny side up eggs and bacon or something similar. Then I will work hard on my garden and will not have any problems. This is my workout. If I don't pay attention and become dehydrated than have a leg cramp or foot cramp I will drink a tall cup of water and of course stand up and make sure my foot is flat on the floor plus if I can, I will have green smoothie. He might have a magnesium, calcium, potassium or sodium deficiency causing leg cramps and he might have been drinking too much alcohol or coffee.. He should drink more good quality water every day like about a liter of water every day or combination of water, smoothies, almond milk and some juices to spread out the variety of ways to take in more fluids so he's more hydrated. . List of drinks that would help get rid of and prevent leg and foot cramps: Tall glass of water with a tablespoon of apple cider vintager and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Tomato Juice has potassium, magnesium and calcium. The V8 low sodium vegetable juice is a great green or red veggie juice. Orange Juice has potassium and magnesium and calcium. I actually will eat a grapefruit or orange rather than drink just juice. Almond Milk has calcium and sometimes magnesium and potassium. Coconut Water has potassium, magnesium and calcium. Beet juice has potassium, magnesium and calcium. My beet juice is mixed with carrot juice. Spinach green smoothie with almond milk, coconut water, banana, yogurt, blueberries, apple juice or grape juice or lemon juice and kale. If I have spent all morning working on my garden I may partake in a tall cup of beer with my lunch at the nearby Irish Pub. Although beer is dehydrating it actually can in my opinion oxygenate the blood which is probably why it feels refreshing to have a beer after being in the sun for a long time and working out. Working out or gardening depletes oxygen in my opinion and a beer can oxygenate in my opinion. I may be wrong about this but I do feel refreshed after working out in the hot sun and then having a cold beer with a slice of lime like a corona with lime. But really, the better option is probably a green smoothie and a tall cup of water with some lemon and ACV and not a beer.

$27 for 6 large containers of fruit and a bread stick? That’s about the same price as here in the U.K. The Ukrainian people get such a bad deal in so many ways.

@@borsch_99 That’s crazy they’ll go as low as 100 UAH, our fruit even out of season/imported stays roughly around the same price all year round, high. Anyway thanks for your informative reply.

Johnny went to expensive supermarket with imported fruits, it's called Le Silpo. Local fruits and berries are cheaper, but still kinda expensive because of the war. For example cherries are usually from Melitopol, but since this city is occupied, there are no cherries from there

That’s a fancy supermarket, you can find much cheaper at local bazaar or even other supermarkets

That's just a fancy supermarket. Just find babushka's market in any other place and buy it much cheaper. The prices skyrocketed after February 2022 though, everything was 50-60% cheaper than now.
