Welcome to the first episode of our new channel and thank you for being here! :)
A short introduction, we are Adam & Lauren, we live full time on board our 59ft Narrowboat with our dog Shanti. We are excited to welcome you into our daily life as we continuously cruise around the British waterways.
In this episode, we take a muddy morning stroll, operate a flight of locks, and treat ourselves to a delicious Sunday roast!

How fun! I came across your channel by accident and it looks so relaxing on the water. I live on an island in Maine (US) and the water was angry today due to wind and winter coming, so this canal boating looks amazing to me. Have you ever thought about running a "B-n-B" on board? I have been looking at renting out a narrowboat (by charter) some day in the future, even so much as to do part of Europe and then into the UK. It all started when I read the book, Leontyne, by Barge from London to Vienna. Enjoy!!!

@@thefloatinghome17, even though you live on board, many would still love to "rent/charter" it. Many people may not know how to handle a boat, not to mention "rules of the road", so this would be nice for them to have a "captain/1st mate" to take them along with them and the guest just enjoys the scenery and time with no hassle of doing all the work themselves. Yes, I will be happy to continue to watch your channel, happy boating.

After following your insta for ages, so glad you started a channel! That shower set up is perfect for dirty dogs. Things we never even thought about before we moved onto a boat with 3 white dogs! I’m sure we will pass you again on the Llangollen this winter. We are loving it so far 😊

Thank you, no fishing is VERY common in the canals but I don't think anyone eats them as the water is pretty dirty!

Loved your speel on looking into windows....I am the same when walking down the road in the evening, and you see I to ppls lamplit homes, it's interesting to see what the interior vs exterior looks like.
