This Yacht appeared to be in fantastic sailing shape, except for a fix-up/clean-up here or there. Not surprised it went off market in a hurry!

Such a nice little boat for a couple.... up to 12:15.... from then on my asking price dropped as fast as I saw the numbers rattling down in my mind's eye... This damage indicates a much worse problem. Delamination on a bulkhead or a frame could have some very problematic causes. These range from generally poor workmanship on the whole ship to collision and grounding. And none of these causes is something that is not so bad that you can NOT speak of a soul seller here. If the damage is repaired professionally and then you only hang around near the coast, it may be okay. But if you want to take it on a trip around the world, you're gambling with your life... at least that's my analysis based on the damage I saw.

Why do you leave off the most important part of a sailboat? The keel. It looks encapsulated but is it? How heavy is it? Arch is weak. I hate the galley (no top opening frig and no way to brace yourself offshore while working the stove) and hate the cushions and the wood needs a lot of work but the cracked bulkhead is a serious problem. 90K was way too much but I do agree that the design is good. Good sea births, good hull, good keel (I think), very good rudder, lots of hatches.

They probably decided to fix the tabbing and wished they didn't jump the gun. Seams sistering a second bulkhead on eather side or both would do the trick.

My thoughts too unless more damage is found. Knowing the cause of the damage would help too.

might want to throw in a bit more details like tankage, engine type/size, keel type and draft, .... you know some of the important stuff.

I think Mads' boat was a sloop with one head? And the bulkhead damage is a red flag, chech very carefully for collision damage. Insurers may be very upset by this.

Please, Please, Please. For those of us who watch youtube on our TV's, can you pin a comment with the price at the time of posting? You can give the date so people know at a glance of the comments what the deal is or was. I rarely go to my computer to find this info or post a comment, but I read comments from the comfort of my recliner all the time. Thanks.

Too many problems come with damaged boats. People are always fixing boats on KZbin. Does any sailor have time to enjoy sailing or are they always having to repair the vessel or using damaged/repairing to make video content ? Honestly a lot of videos make sailing seem like a major pain and NO enjoyment. I wanted to sail but some make it seem so discouraging. Please reply sailors ? Thanks

All boating comes with basically constant repairs; some repairs are similar to a car’s maintenance, but sometimes big (and expensive) things break. The sea and weather is incredibly unforgiving, no matter the age of boat. While it seems like an uphill battle, with good budgeting you can be more prepared for the random things that break. BOAT stands for “Break Out Another Thousand”, it’s basically a hole in the water that you pour money and time into. Generally you’ll want to budget for 10% the boat’s value per year in maintenance and repair costs.

res obligat if you cant be bothered maintaining your own belongs then maybe you shouldnt own it. and the Ship of Theseus paradox is an pathetic excuse for people who cant be bothered with basic upkeep. and plenty of new boats come with problems on their own but alot of times sailing influencers only show the nice side of things and not the ugly stuff aswell. mainly the Bekini thumbnail channels.
