Excellent analysis 👍it shows Klopp clear idea of having players play to there strengths and mixed with incredible work rate. A big part is also Liverpool have a fear factor and teams set up to try not to concede and are very concerned with Liverpool counter attacks that allows them to be more aggressive in attack and push players further up , this in fairness was earned and not just given due to how clinical Liverpool are in possession and in front of goal. Klopp has put an excellent team together from back to front.

Thanks Billy. You make a good point about teams sitting deep to try and negate the counter attack from Liverpool. Quality info Aaron. Clear demonstration of how player personnel can influence the style of play used in attack and defensive organization. In your opinion, what significance has the addition of V. VanDyck and A. Baecker had upon the ability of Klopp to encourage A. Roberston and T.A. Arnold to both get forward.? A video analyzing the difference in the FB play of Man City would be interesting. While they are able to get forward, it seems that K. Walker will occupy the half space a little more due to a more attack minded CMF. Would you agree? Keep up the great work Aaron🏆

Thank you very much Bob. I think the addition of both VVD and Allison has been huge for Liverpool, and not just on how the full backs play. They both read the game incredibly well and are able to respond through balls with ease. It also helps that VVD is very fast which means Liverpool can be more aggressive with their positions - i.e. full backs pushing on. If you look at Man United, for example, they have good centre backs and an outstanding goalkeeper but due to the lack of pace possessed by Maguire and Lindleloff, the full backs are less able to advance even though both Shaw and Wan Bissaka have pace in abundance. City do play their full backs differently and frequently play with inverted full backs operating in the half space as you suggest. To counter this, and to provide width, Pep gets his wingers to stay very wide and for the CAMs - De Bruyne and Silva/Foden - to attack through the inside channel (where I said Mane and Salah operate). I am going to do a comparison video soon. Thank you again for your feedback!

Yes, there have been some vary good "shorter" full backs. Roberto Carlos, arguably one of the best full backs ever, is 168cm tall

Coach... What is the difference between fullback and wingback ...

The difference use to be quite clear based on the formation that a team were playing. With a GK-3-5-2 the two widest players in the 5 tended to be known as wing backs because they attacked and defended the flank areas and in a traditional GK-4-4-2 for example, the two wide players in the defensive back 4 were known as full backs because they only really had defensive responsibilities. However, nowadays, full backs are incredibly attacking and play much more like old-school wing backs. It also depends upon how a coach deploys the full back. Liverpool play with overlapping full backs who could be described as wingers. Man City sometimes play with inverted full backs that end up becoming Holding or Defensive midfielders. Positions are much more fluid in modern day football and there is much more focus on the coach's philosophy of play and the roles and responsibilities that are given to each player. You could have two teams face each other with identical formations on paper that actually play completely different game models. I asked this because...I used to play as a wingback...a one who hunger for goals and assist...but the problem is that I am defensively very poor... lacking pace... So I was thinking about changing position .. to centre forward... Do you think that it's a wise decision from me ..??? coach..??

@@AMAL_vijayan it's very difficult to say where you should play without having see you play. It's try that wider players tend to need to be faster as there is more space in wide areas than in central areas so maybe a central position would suit you better but as I say, impossible to be sure having never seen you play. Sorry.
