If I'm not mistaken Alphonso used to play as a striker in his youth in Edmonton and thereafter with the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS. If so, then its amazing he is able to switch positions and still be lethal on the field. From watching his first few games in the Bundesliga, his defensive skills needed improving but his last few games showed immense improvement. The future is bright.

He debuted for Vancouver at left wing and performed brilliantly, but in his last year and a half here, the coaches moved him to left back (preparing him for the higher leagues) But Vancouver was a very bad team and our offense suffered greatly. Davies still managed to put in brilliant performances from the back end.

I think both can play together, but either Coman or Gnabry will be the one getting benched. Alaba at LB and Davies at LM, Alaba to play the inverted full back while Davies will play out wide as usual, overlapping with one of the midfielder that goes wide (where Alaba inverted play will cover it)

The idea of having one fullback attack, is very similar to Mourinho's treble winning Inter Milan. In an average back four of Maicon-Samuel-Ivan-Zanetti, Maicon had the license to attack and form a big part of Inter Milan's attack. This was more especial for the domestic games where Mourinho played more narrow in a 442 diamond, hence relying on his fullback (Maicon in that case), to provide width. Like Maicon, Alfonso Davies is fantastic going forward despite one been a 'natural' fullback and the other a 'natural'winger. But Davies' great recovery and his very good tackle success rate also helps his role in this Bayern side and covers for his "unnaturalness" as a full-back. Currently he's my best LB. Fode Ballo-Toure of Monaco has very similar attributes: electric pace, very good recoveries and very adapt going forward. (So wish ManUtd snap him up, eventhough we have Shaw and Brandon, sorry am that selfish for my club, lol). Yet another good analysis Nouman 🙌🏿

Look,I don't know how to say this in a respectful manner. I know you content creators work hard to make these videos but you should revisit your Kylian Mbappe video because there you portrayed him like Inaki Williams(a pace merchant). I don't want to say that pace isn't a big part of the game but Kylian is also technically sound and also possesses good passing. The passing isn't Kevin De Bruyne level but playing in such a dominant side other players dominate the ball more and let him have an impact in the final 3rd like Di Maria or Neymar. Pace is probably his biggest weapon but it isn't like he can do nothing else but run.
