i don´t realy know how to relate to expensive watches. the ones i have are budget watches even though everyone around me would consider them too epensive as a watch. but i do understand experiencing a watch and a casio royale brings about the same joy as a citizen or a seiko does. maybe it´s easier to not diferentiate when there´s not that big of a difference , i don´t know how i´d feel about wearing a gs or if i´d be able to enjoy it just the same..

I firmly believe it's good design that brings joy. Price tag has nothing to do with it. I realize it's easy to say it when I have some fairly desirable watches in my collection, but if I had to keep just one watch, it would be any of my watches- be it a $5 Casio or a more expensive model. In fact my affordable vintage HMT watches and vintage Chinese watches are just as desirable as their expensive Swiss equivalents. It is absurd how some watch collectors look down upon cheaper watches. That's just a sign of their insecurity.
