I cried while watching this. Why? Because it showed me so clearly what it could be like to have a loving, healthy relationship with your mother. Something I have longed for all my life. I can see what a beacon of inspiration, nurturing, wisdom and love this woman is in your life. Dear Jonna, and everyone who has loving parents in your life who truly support and uplift you - please never take for granted what you have - your are blessed. There are so many of us out here struggling every day with the effects of an abusive/neglectful childhood. It hurts more than I could put into words. No one of us gets to choose what family you are born into and if you grow up standing on a foundation of a good, loving family, you are truly blessed. Update: Oh my goodness! I did not expect that type of response. The funny thing is, after I wrote my comment, I went to bed and sometime during the night I suddenly felt that wave of compassion coming towards me in regard to my upbringing and my relationship with my mother. And I was like, "oh, I am probably just imagining this since the topic has been on my mind after watching Jonnas video...or maybe Jonnas has seen my comment and is sending me good vibes..."and then the next morning I woke up and saw that not only had Jonna seen my comment, but there was a whole village of people who could relate exactly to what I was saying...and it made me both sad and comforted me at the same time...sad because it just confirmed what I already knew...that there is truly so many of us who carry that wound of a loveless, cold and painful childhood inside us...and comforted because after seeing all of the wonderful comments on what I said, I knew that we are truly not alone. And, before I continue, let me first say this: I know that many of us are struggling a lot with the wounds that have been inflicted on their soul...only those who have experienced it know what it is like going through life dealing with them...and I NEVER want to downplay the pain of what it means to carry that burden...because it is simply HARD. I know this. BUT I also truly believe that even though we have not felt love during our childhood, it doesn't mean that we are condemned to a loveless, painful life. We can love and be loved. We can heal. And like someone said so beautifully in the comments...I think it starts with ourselves. We need to try and give ourselves the love that we never received, but deserved so much. Give your inner child a hug and tell that child that you love him/her. And I know it isn't easy, because trauma is so deeply burned into us, it gets hard to shake those old patterns sometimes. But we have to fight for ourselves...and just do the best we can every single day. We deserve to live happy lives. We need to believe this, deep in our hearts. Sending much love to all of you out there...

I had to stop watching partway through, for the same exact reason. I hear what you can't put into words, and I felt that deep inexpressible pain. And then I dried my inner tears and made a coffee then came back to finish watching with gratitude that at least some people have been able to experience it and to live up to their full potential and bless the rest of us with their joy and beauty. It is like a miracle one can only imagine! Hugs for you @samakanikalumata5390

I also still have a very challenging relationship with my mum. No matter how spiritual you get when your mom doesn't grow with you. It won't change the relationship with her. I have accepted this still acceptance doesn't do any difference to my past or my present nor possibility to my future. We are on the top of that share one roof at this time. I am ready to leave very soon though. It's truly beautiful if parent and child relationship is healthy. It's a miracle, divine gift & one of the biggest blessings that you can ever receive in life. 😊

I used to watch Jonna to relax. Now I watch her to motivate me to get things done. But sometimes I would still rationalize my lack of motivation by saying to myself, "Well, she is 35 and I am 65, so of course she has more energy than me." But then I watched this video. Her mom is 68 and still living life at full speed! She is such an inspiration to me! Thank you! Cynthia Sanders. USA

I only just watched this today. Can identify in so many ways... bringing up children and navigating those teenage years was hard for me. I am now over 60 like your mum Anita, and in that thankful place. Empathy, creativity, thankfulness and love are the same in... EVERY LANGUAGE. We speak it, live it and learn from each other. I loved ❤ this. Honest and real, feel like I could sit down with you and join in your life reflections with ease. A beautiful peep into life in another country, reassurance that we are all on a similar journey wherever we are. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and hearts ❤

The idea of living and rising up children is so inspiring to me. I grow up in a dark childhood. A lot of beating from my father and psychological terror from my mother. A reason why I didn’t want to have children for so long. But I am a mom now and I want my child to grow up knowing that I love it, support it and be there for it no matter what. I want to be the parent to it, my parents couldn’t be for me. And this loving words from your mom lifted me up! Thank you from the button of my heart for sharing you vision of life!!!! Much love and light to all the people!!!! 💚☀️

Yes! The one photo of her when she was in her 20's...her right arm and hand are blurry....did you notice how much she looked like Isabella Rossellini? And now she is just beautiful as herself. What a lovely and interesting woman.

The last 15 minutes were possibly the most important of this whole video! I am convinced in the depths of my soul that this is a Simulation we are living in. It is definitely a game, a school, to help us grow our personalities and characters on the cosmic level. It is to be enjoyed. I haven't always known this and have allowed the world to distract me from discovering who I really am, ignoring my natural curiosity to explore this beautiful and terrible construct we live in. Anita is so extraordinarily wise to have known this all along! "If you die, you die." Yes! There is definitely something after - another life, another world. What a beautiful interview!

@@nielsbosteffens1749 Anita called it a game. And I personally agree. But if thinking of life that way is triggering for you, you can just think of it some other way. The point that she was trying to make, I think, is that life is to be enjoyed.

Watching the interaction between you and your mother (and your family) feels like watching a family from another planet, some peaceful and good planet. A family who allows you to be you. I cannot explain it. I feel like I survived my childhood emotionally (even though I never experienced something "bad"). You seemed to have been nourished emotionally. Thats why we need your videos. You are now sharing what you received back then, with everyone who is watching, and you may not even have been conscious about it until this video. This is truly a big impact of healing, nurturing energy. Thank you both!

You're mom has such an amazing soul and so inspirational. She reminds me of my grandma who would tell us incredible stories of when she grew up. This interview revealed exactly how you, such a beautiful star, came to be. It's wonderful to see that when a child is so fully supported and connected with, as your mother is with you, how you can be exactly you who are in life, and be so successful at it. We all have our issues we need to deal with, such is being human, but it's a head start when the beginnings are this solid. What a blessing and model for humanity.

This is such a beautiful session with your mom. I resonate with everything she was saying about death and the afterlife. I share the same message with my kids, there is no death it is a transition, and I have no fear. I also tell them not to take life so seriously, and to be joyful this is the point of being here in our human form. You have a very sweet relationship I'm sure you cherish it deeply. :)
