I've seen a number of expats now who have taught English in foreign countries. It makes sense if that's what it takes to remain in the foreign country. However; it seems to me you're not taking advantage of the fact you have low costs and can sell your services to a country that will pay more. Your replacing a high salary with a low salary. Living in a foreign country you should have the best of both worlds, low cost and high salary. And that advantage can be leveraged. If work can be performed by employees in the low cost country. You can hire those people and multiply the arbitrage.
