I use lightroom every day and learned two new things and reminded me of one I used to use but got out of the habit of using it a couple years ago. Photoshop has advanced so much that I did not keep up with the additions since I was doing large batches. Lightroom also advanced almost monthly so now almost everything I need can be done in LR Classic and the new masking options makes loading into Photoshop even less important to my workflow. Those balking at the monthly subscription and continue using the old versions are missing out on the true value of that monthly modest subscription, which really is the best return on investment in photography. The more one learns the more valuable the applications are.
