I just happened to stumble across these old videos and I must say that I love these far more than the new one's! Something very Real and Down to Earth about them. Your reaction to the food comes with a little comedy side as well instead of the usual reaction with the eye roll that gets old.

It’s also definitely nice to see how much you have improved over the years on filming! You’re AWESOME! Can’t stop watching your videos. (PS: I know wanna go to Thailand just for the food! Thanks to you 😅)

The one thing that always strikes me about Mark is his down to earth attitude...be it any setting, a street food stall, humble abode of someone's home or an upscale fine dining luxury restaurant...he is at ease, always willing to learn new things & respect the locals, their culture...this quality is probably whats makes him so popular & likeable...also a tad different from other food vloggers...so refreshing for those of us familiar with his work since last 4-5 years to check out this older video with his hippyish look & quieter mannerisms...👍

@banfielddavid Hi David, Thanks so much for watching the video! That's awesome that you are taking a trip to Myanmar soon, I really enjoyed my time. Wow - 2 years, that's going to be an incredible experience. The big fish I ate was on one of the main streets in Chinatown, not sure exactly what street, but you'll see the fish from the main road. From that street you walk about 50 meters down the road to the restaurant I ate at. Awesome fish!

Myanmar has developed so much in the past few years. Roads are cleaner, buildings are bigger, transportation is so much easier and most importantly, people are much more advanced and well cultured. I would highly recommend visiting Myanmar whoever is planning to come and is researching through this video. Oh btw, don't be scared of the corruption or anything. The government has changed to democracy and it is 100% safe to visit. I was watching this video because I miss Burma so much.

I don't think Mark looks old and stressed out in any of his videos. He is one of the most relaxed, natural presenter on KZbin. Both he and Ying are very relaxed and so is their little boy Micah. Micah's calm, relaxed attitude comes directly from Mark and Ying. They are wonderful parents and I can never stop praising the people they are, how they relate to many different cultures and how show a lot of respect to all people, cultures and countries.
