It was me that suggested you visit Tasty Place. I could not pass this chippy on the way home from the pub in the 70's. Then the guy in the video took over the place 30 years ago and when we visited my mum in Adswood from Canada we would be in there for a pizza or a chicken portion or pudding chips and peas in a tray with gravy ! We were never disappointed with the food.

Tasty Place is my local chippy, it’s an absolute dive, but I’ve not once had an issue with the quality of the food. Always make sure I pop over every Friday, the staff are always really friendly, helpful, and I always make sure I have a good chat with them all. Can’t say I’ve had a kebab from there though, although, I have heard they are very nice. It’s lovely to see this little place getting out there in Stockport 😀

I've been going to this place for over 20 years on and off. Never had a problem with the Naan; hopefully was a one off! The Chicken Wings are delicious, as are the burgers. Glad you enjoyed it!

I must say Greg you've got some awesome eateries around you, both restaurants & take aways. My weapon of choice would be chicken on pitta, accompanied by nice fresh crispy salad with a hot chilli sauce. I used to frequent a place called Pepe's in the '90's near me, their food was to die for, chargrilled chicken with the freshest salad you could wish for, lemon sauce on the chicken and chilli sauce to top it off. Yours looked 7.5 / 10.

Hi Stocky, the chicken looked nice, a shame the naan was too thick, you could always use it to keep your door open lol, might have been better with Pita bread. I think 7 was a fair score. My own fault karen I should’ve had the pitter bread instead of the naan. Got a few of the curry in now. However, I’m suffering with pneumonia at the moment am I right? Long? Pretty generic fare like most bog standard takeaways and the naan just looks like the better of the pre packaged Asian types on offer in most supermarkets these days.
