Apart from the generally amazing song picks, it reminds us that Techno once dreamt, too, but that the world grew colder in his eyes as people began to see him as a dangerous warrior. Being feared or detested by everyone, he is bound to be lonely, despite having so much love in his heart. He cares about the ones close to him, ready to protect them with everything he's got; And yet, nobody wants to be his friend, they only want the Blade. It seems that he is happier now that he has the Syndicate, but the theme of the playlist is still true, as the last song describes perfectly: Technoblade is mighty, but he hurts, takes the fall because he trusts and loves, and it will always be that way.

i genuinely think that people forget that techno is more than just the blade, and honestly looking at other techno playlist videos show that. theyre all aggressive and blood thirsty, focusing on the anarchy and bloodshed and totally avoiding the other softer parts of his character like how loyal he is to the people he cares about

i tried to incorporate all the aspects of the characters when i made the spotify playlists that started it all. i went all in with the idea of including music that felt like the characters in any way, like i could visualize the characters to the songs. which is why every character playlist on my spotify (which is linked in the pinned comment) has an entirely different feel just like the characters.

I can't express how much love i had and still have for him. He was a big motivation for me to keep living, watching his videos and waiting on the next one. I miss him a lot and i never met him irl. I try not to see much stuff about him right now cuz i just end up tearing up since i'm not even close to get over it. I sincerely say that the only reason i didn't off myself back in 2020 and 2021 was for him, i have so much to thank him and even though he'll never see this l, taking this off my chest is enough. He had a good impact on all of us and we will always remember him with all the love and joy he deserves. I love you Technoblade, i love you Alex, blood god, the Blade. You will be missed. I wrote some angst! _This has a lot of headcannons in here and is a small glimpse of a fanfiction I’m writing for Ao3 That said, enjoy!_ A gentle knock on the spruce door of Technoblade's home sounded off, on the other size of said door stood another piglin. A slightly shorter one, with a more curvy and robustly grounded figure adorned with many scars. This piglin was female, her hair about shoulder length, slicked of to the left side of her face because of a burn scar on her right side preventing hair growth. Her golden eyes burning with worry for her dear friend, opening the door slowly and cautiously. “Techno?” Cherry called into the cabin, he hadn’t been outside for weeks and his animals looked underfed, ‘All this and he didn’t yell at me to get out of his house? Something must be seriously wrong!’ The she-piglin thought to herself as she searched the house for him, picking up his crown that she found in the living room and eventually finding him in the basement. He was an absolute wreck. Curled in a fetal position on Tommy’s bed facing the wall, his fingers weaved into his usually silky smooth hair that is now all matted and frizzy. Cherry’s heart nearly stopped when she saw him like this, her eyes wide and an even stronger sense of concern flooding her body as hooves clicked a tiny bit on the stone floor inching closer to him, her ear flicked when she eventually was able to pick up the softest little sniffs and whimpers coming from the man in front of her. ‘He.. He’s crying!?’ This was no longer about finding her sparring partner and overworld technique sensei, this was about helping her friend. “Techno..?” She started, reaching out a hand to touch his shoulder. “...Go away…” His voice was hoarse as if he had been gargling nails, but the harsh sound didn’t deter her, Cherry sat next to him with a smile. “No can do Techy, I can see you’re upset and as your friend I have to cheer you up. So what’s the matter?” Techno sighed, he knew Cherry wouldn't leave him alone until he swallowed his pride and told her, and that she'd never tell anyone his secrets, but opening up to people was still difficult cuz it seems that everytime he lets someone in they just stab him in the back. “Tommy.. That fucking moron..” “What about Tommy? I thought you hated him.” The male piglin sighed and shook his head silently, “I don’t hate him, I just… He’s… He found a way to actually hurt me…” Cherry was kinda shocked, Techno NEVER admitted when someone hurt him. “You see… When Kristin found me, she became the closest thing to a mother I ever had.. She took me out of the cold and gave me home.. A family.. Then Tommy was born… She died during the birth of Tommy. As he grew older he’d blame everything he could on me just because I was the ‘foster kid’ and he used my superior strength and the fact that I thought of him as family to win his battles, he used me as a weapon and never gave a damn how I felt! And now he’s dead.. And I’m more conflicted than ever… I feel like I should be happy cuz that asshole can’t do anything to me anymore, but at the same time I should be angry with Dream and mourning the death of my little brother… But instead, all those emotions are coming at me at once and the voices in my head are fighting over what I should feel, they’re louder than ever and I just can’t handle it anymore… they broke me… Tommy broke me…” By the end he collapsed in a mess of tears, not being able to contain it all anymore he closed himself off by putting his face in his knees, squeezing himself into the smallest ball he could. ‘What he said at the Syndicate meeting was just an act then..’ Cherry thought to herself. “Hey.. I know that I could probably never quite understand what you went through.. But just know that unlike all those other bastards out there, I am actually here for you. Porkers sick together.” Her play on their species at the end brought the tiniest chuckle out of him, which made her smile. Cherry had never been the best at cheering people up, so any sign that she was helping made her feel better too. Out of nowhere she thought ‘Fuck it.’ And pulled him into her arms, his head put on her shoulder. “What the hell are you-” “Shh.. It just seemed like you needed someone to show you they give a shit.. That you don’t have to listen to the voices.. That you’re not alone Techno.” The figure in her arms started to shake a little bit, his chest expanding with a shaky breath before quickly hugging back and burying his face in her shoulder. He remained there for a moment, holding her just as tightly as she was holding him, before the smallest little, “Thank you Cherry.. I.. I really needed to hear that..” Cherry smiled softly, “No problem Techy B.” She pulled away from the hug and pulled out her hairbrush and a washcloth from the little potch she keeps on her waist like a purse. “Now, let’s get you cleaned up, and rejuvenate your poor hair. It looks like a bright pink rat’s nest. We could even bring back the braid that Dream so rudely disrespected.” It took a moment for him to respond, but eventually he let a small smile creep onto his face and let her help him up off the bed, “Yeah.. that sounds nice.” He walked out of the room with her, leaving a picture of Phil, Wilbur, Tommy, and him in a classic family portrait pose on the pillow in that basement room. _Before y'all yell at me, the relationship between Cherry and Techno is meant to be platonic._
