Today we'll go back to Dr. Reeves beautiful yard and tour the backyard spaces. He'll reveal many trees and plants that he's found to be especially hardy in our extreme Texas heat and arctic blasts.

Try a slow drip under the plant for about 30-60 minutes. Don't let it die completely. Keep watering every few days and it will probably come back.

Do you have leaf cutter ants? If you have, what is the best way to kill them?

Try bacillus thuringiensis or BT. It may take care of them. Otherwise you may have to use an herbicide with stronger poisons. Ortho products carry these.
