My biggest problem in making fine adjustments is that I can no longer keep sight of the measure needed. For example, I lose track of where 17/32nds is on the ruler. Here, as in so many other situations, painter's tape is the remedy.

George, Thank you again! I first found your channel via the vacuum bag and then have gone and checked out some more. You’ve earned a new subscriber for sure. Much of what you do seems out of my wheel house, but I like how you’re into lots of different things and trying new stuff too. I’m primarily a hand tool only woodworker, but I enjoy hearing and seeing your direct point of view and thoughts in your videos. I do hope you’ll continue as time permits you.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry to have responded late; it seems I get notification for some, not all, comments. Glad to have you aboard.

It's weird, such a simple fix turns a nightmare of a task into a dream.

I felt guilty using 1:15 when the thumbnail says it all!

For what it's worth, the thumbnail says it all. No need to watch the whole minute and a quarter.

Actually that was a very well invested 74 seconds! Thanks George, that is genuinely helpful.

@@MarkMcCluney Thanks Mark, I'm still shaking my head over how much easier it was to line the tape against the blade.
