Chris. Thanks for sharing this. There's definitely a need for this rear shelf. That being said, I've often wondered why folks cover their license plates, or in your case partially mask it. Just an FYI, during a fair amount of your video you can clearly see your entire plate number to the right of the word " Denton". Just keep that in mine if you feel the need to mask your plate in a future video ; )

Looks like it's part of the bike. Max has done it again. Great install. Can't wait to see the cam and sensor installed.I recommend a heat gun to help set the 3M tape, we always did that when I worked in the body shop and never had a comeback unless the guy didn't heat it up. Be safe

Made an L shaped profile. Painted it black and fixed it behind the screws of the license plate

I bought a black aluminum knob from a home improvement store and mounted it to the removed panel on the back. Cheap and not really noticeable.

I saw Robert White's video regarding the mounting/removal of the Innovv Blind spot system and his problem with cutting the wires to be able to disconnect them when removing his mirrors. I pondered the situation and I think I have a solution. I purchased some "Velcro dots" that are 1/2" x 1-1/4" from Rona. I am thinking of sticking them to the mirror and sensors. If you want to remove the mirror, simply peel the sensor off let it hang.

It's the room ... the available real estate that is the benefit here. You've got two more inches in usable width, and about an inch in depth. And the blind spot radar does not have a swivel but only a tilt.
