Psychologically speaking, showing others that you commit mistakes as a normal, not perfect person would, makes you more trustworthy and likeable to others except under very specific contexts, this one not being one of them. So if he wanted Krystl to like him better, it was an overall better idea to just say he messed up but maybe in a funny way as in "yeah so I may or may not have lost a potentially great run because i forgot the food chest". 2:14 Flowbee was using duncan’s reset mod, the reason the “stop reset & quit” button didn’t appear is because that only appears when using the auto reset feature. Eleventy is right even if it's hard to explain to someone who's not a speedrunner. It's not really so much that he couldn't have seen anything down that corridor as that looking down that corridor at all shouldn't have been his priority over and above taking a peek through the wooden door on the other side. Since we know he cheated, and we know he never navigated this stronghold legitimately, I highly doubt he ever noticed you could see the portal room from there at all. If convincing his audience that he had seen it had been the point, he likely would have hesitated or made some other visual show of "hey look! it's a portal room!" before actually going there. Instead he just spun around in F5, so he was probably trying to show something else, such as "hey look, I'm thinking about my options here". Problem is he wasn't in a position where a typical speedrunner would have been thinking about options. A typical speedrunner would have been thinking "is this starter? let me check". It's the same exact thing that's all through his runs, where his actions should be reflecting well-understood thought processes, and they don't. Every speedrunner is going to do stuff like this sometimes, but Flowbee has too much of it and not enough of the opposite, where you can see exactly what a speedrunner is thinking when they do something, and it makes sense.

I got to say I don't agree :) That's not te point though, multiple times have been pointed out that none of the conditions were concrete proof of him cheating but enough to raise suspicion and that's all it's about, I think they've been really lenient with him and giving the benefit of the doubt, it's not ONE time that he doesn't look at his surroundings but any of the accusations are based upon continuous cases if odd behavior that doesn't belong to a world record speedrunner. There's odds are astronomical times a milion and at some point the odds become too low to a point where you can very accurately tell someone is cheating. Besides he wasn't proven guilty untill they looked at his files after which he IMMEDIATELY confessed to cheating aswell, all of it was suspicion to that point and all world record speedrunners are prone to suspicion so he wasn't an exception.

when he went straight to"dead end" in the fortress, i think you could see the blaze spawner from behind the nether tree, so i *personally* wouldnt count **that** specific thing as incriminating and at 10:27 you can see in his F3 screen he has around 160FPS, and while he still sees the portal room for the same time, its proven that its easier to see quickly on high FPS + high Hz monitors (the recording is 60fps due to recording software) I know the run is confirmed cheated anyway, i just wouldn't accuse him on that **ALONE** but i agree the no-looking-around in nether was very suspicious for example. (i dont dispute that he cheated (especially due to the logs and him admitting it)) i didnt know about this person before the video, just some stuff thta i thought about :p tl;dr - he cheated, but these 2 things are not that unbelievable IMO

Even with a bit slower fpf you'd need inhumane reflexes (or some of the best reflexes recorded) to catch that, that moment was absolutely only included as an excuse to use when questioned! So he could bail out saying "I saw it behind me". Unless he has the reflexes of some of the top tier athletes I'm calling bullshit on that one! Plus as the video stated it blends in horribly well thus you'd likely only see it upon actually LOOKING for it, meaning he'd of known it was there which equals fake run.
