Here is a little tour of the Havørn, a 70ft Norwegian Fishing Cutter build completely from scratch by my dad. I have grown up while he was building this ship and I can't even explain how much this ship means to me. I am so proud of my dad! Of course there is so much more to tell about all the technical aspects, engine, rig, building process etc - but that may have to wait for another time.

When you can be with your parents and raised properly and they love you…lack of money is of no consequence. Love this story. What a beautiful thing he accomplished. Of course there's a workshop in the boat equipped with a lathe and the necessary tools to manage such a behemoth boat at sea. This is by far the most inspiring boat build I've come a cross in my short period exploring the plethora of sailing content that this genre of community has to offer on here. The love, attention to detail, love for craftsmanship and the open sea shows in every essence of this boat and I love it. A true source of inspiration to anyone that will ever come across this video, pass my regards to your father this is a brilliant piece of craftsmanship and a well thought out boat. And thanks you Laura for sharing this much appreciated masterpiece.

Laura , your dad is one amazing man! As a radio technician, lightening can do damage that is unbelievable extensive, it may not even show up until the device is used for sometime. I can't wait to see your footage of "Havorn" under sail.
