I explore more of Tokyo (東京), Japan, the largest city in the world. Beginning in the serene Yoyogi Park and Meiji Jingu shrine, I then make my way to the bright lights of Akihabara. The following morning I pay a visit to Tsukiji Market to try some fresh seafood, before ending things by the iconic Tokyo Tower.

I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and KZbinr who's been to 61 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a KZbinr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to Asia, with videos following from India, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan.

Many people fooled by the appearance of Japan’s clean, polite but Japan is strictly hierarchical pyramid society, they rank countries, rate them, they rank among the people (the weak are bullied, the strong obey) If you go to bookstores in Japan, there’s an anti-foreigner section Imagine this happening in Germany 🇩🇪

@@User_37821 thank you for telling me something I do not know. Can you share where is that bookstores? by the way, I am 36 years old Japanese. I think we do not rank other countries, we just classify foreigners as forereigners. that's because 98% of population is Japanese. quiet many people in Japan feel most of foreigners are from USA though 😅

It’s impossible to see Japan or even Tokyo in one visit. It’s recommended to visit 4 times. Once per season because the Japanese are very seasonal, the fashion, the food, the attractions, the events, and of course the weather changes around the year. In my experience even something as simple as ramen tastes different with the seasons. You crave it more in the cold winter. Autumn is my favorite and hope you come back one day to see it. Hope you enjoyed your visit Jason.

I am originally from Tokyo. When I was a student, I went on a date in Harajuku and went to Yoyogi Park to see cherry blossoms. Tomorrow, I'm going to Nishiarai in Kita-ku to eat ramen with a friend who lives in Shinjuku, and then enjoy a sauna in Ikebukuro. In other words, my daily life becomes the middle of someone's special journey and vice versa.😌have a nice trip❤️

I was so close to visiting and working in Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture performer and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit Japan. You have some amazing videos on your channel. Best of luck on your travels.

FYI, the original Torii gate of Meiji Jingu shrine was built in 1920, using the cypress wood imported from Taiwan, but after 100 years passed, it was replaced with the Japanese cedar wood in July 4, 2022. The current Torii gate pillar is 11 meter tall and 1.6 meter dia, unchanged from the old Torii gate in size. The crossbar on the pillars is 15.6 meter long. It took almost eight years to renew the Torii gate since the thick cedar trees were found in Nara pref. in 2014 as the most suitable wood for the pillars. The crossbar wood, however, came from other pref. such as Fukui and Tochigi.

22:45 Since the wholesale fish market moved to Toyosu in 2018, Tsukiji has become a shopping area for foreign tourists. Since many popular restaurants have moved to Toyosu, Japanese are now going to Toyosu as well. It is fun to see the fish wholesale market! Also, fresh fish at the market is basically expensive. There are stores in Tsukiji that sell cheap prices, but don't buy them because they are imported frozen foods....

I can imagine having the shrine on Blackheath in South London, blacks would be in their stealing the money as it was thrown in all the wish cards would be strewn around on the ground and the tree would probably be cut down, people wouldnt go there anyway because of the knife carrying gangs. One thing to remember is that Japan lost the war..........but they won.

Hello, 🏵🏵🏵🌷🌷🌷May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

Traveling on crutches is not recommended as it is very hot from July to September. If you're used to the climate of Japan and understand Japanese, you might be fine. I think the best thing to do is heal your injuries before traveling.
