If you're interested in seeing more of the Marquette, you should visit Manistee or Ludington, both are very great places to catch trains. Their timetables may have changed, but I could see upwards of 4 engine and 100 car consists coming in and out of Manistee. Common enough, Ludington sees two back to back EMDs transferring cars from the massive storage yard or setting. outbound trains to Baldwin. All very cool places to find some train action.

Burton and Clyde park isn't exactly a tourist destination. I grew up not far from there. You sure picked some of the worst parts of grand rapids to roam the tracks. Glad to see you made it out alive. Good video.

They got double decker cars on the pere Marquette now I remember when they where just regular coaches I have childhood memories of the old station. I heard it was recently put up for sale I hope it gets restored & reused either for a restaurant or something. Drove by the GR & E yard & saw engine poking it's nose out of the shed .

13:22 If you ask, they will give you a tour of the place! I asked and got to sit in the driver's seat of the 2nd ever Laker Line #6002 There is usually a train at Leonard and Plainfield around 2:50Pm to 3:00Pm incase you want a video of that.

I might do that next time I’m in town. Once, in the Netherlands, the bus company in my hometown just let me and my friend hang out in the bus depot and look around all the buses, by ourselves, as long as we didn’t break anything. It was awesome.
