It's not that girls are a problem. It's the shitty writing and characterisation. If the sequel trilogy had a speck of the originals cohesion and the female characters, actually all the characters, had a speck of Leia's competancy from the original trilogy the sequels would have been sweet af. They don't though and that's why they're garbage.

The Disney sequels were one big mess! The Farce Awakens made every sacrifice in *Return of the Jedi* irrelevant, and things just went from bad to worse. The prequels were bad but at least they had some memorable moments.
