A tribute to my best friend, my dog Sterling

My dog Sterling died a couple months ago. I am having a very difficult time recovering, because he was my best friend. It has taken me months to be able to make this video, but I wanted to make something that honored him, that I can watch for the rest of my life and remember the truly incredible life and bond we shared. He was the absolute best boy in the world, and I will miss him terribly every single day.
To all of you that have followed our adventures, thank you for caring about him, for all your messages over the past few years about how much he touched you with his goofy little self. I am glad you got to know him, even if it was just through a screen. Thank you for watching as I say goodbye to my little boy.
I will love him eternally.

The van was great, but Sterling was the star of those videos for sure. Your pets are and have lived a life most pets never will. Having been through this with a few Angels including Our Bear who was a Gentle Giant . we had Bear's Mom . He was born in Our closet and passed away 2 feet away from that closet . Bear was part Rottie / part Pit Bull but as loving and gentle as a 100 pound baby could be.All he had was love for everyone especially the Children . I know How difficult it is to lose a friend and took a few years until we adopted Lexi from Our dad who ironically looks like sterling sister , perhaps the same breed . Bear was 13 when he passed on . He filled everyday with Joy and Love . His Mom, Lulu we had adopted at 4 months was the protector of the family, But Bear was All Love !!!!

Very nicely done. Beautiful. What a handsome, happy, loving boy. What a life you shared, what adventures. I lost my best friend of 12 years, Yoder, two years ago this coming July. He helped me care for Mama and Papa as they passed. After Mama passed, I believe he believed his mission had been fulfilled and he could leave me. I have watched many tribute videos since- "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Dr. Seuss. Be well.

I am so very sorry for your loss. You are right, he is not dead....a little part of him will always be there right by your side. Our precious pets are family members, and it is just as devastating to lose them too. As someone once told me, grief never quite goes away....it just finds a place to settle. My heart broke for you. I have my own Sterling his name is Bleu. He’s going on ten now and I know everyday is a gift. He was six months when I met him. It doesn’t seem that long ago. I know your heart is broken mine will be too, but for now I will just hang on to the moments we have. All my love to you on your new journey. He’s with you and always will be. My heart broke for you. I know it’s hard to lose your buddy. I’ve had several little fuzz balls over the last 40 some years. I couldn’t have children but the Creator gave these little guys to love and take of. All I know is that when I cross that rainbow bridge or walk into that valley of beauty they will all be there waiting for me.
