Is it possible to port the BFD kits that I've purchased from my Mac over to the Alesis? Being able to use the engine to make a two zone pad react to the rim and snare at the same time to trigger a rimshot is awsome.

The price point is incredible well done Alesis (Roland Fanboy). I would have bought this if the tom pads were 8",10",12". And the ride at least 16". But I'm very impressed by the price. The strata prime is too big and the strata core too small 😂😂

@@Lemordison92 Sorry, but you haven't looked around much have you? There are other companies that sell e-Drums cheaper than Alesis that are eating their lunch. Simmons, Donner, Hampback to name a few! Simmons is really on it Now! Shortly they will overtake Roland and Alesis and be "totally" eating their lunches too! No lie! Simmons already has pro sounds and features! They are smarter than the rest! They realize that the world is struggling with the economy and have stepped up! Not with another "new" overpriced kit like Alesis keeps doing! Simmons just released 3 cymbal Expansion Packs MC(13", 16", 18") that are actual metal and rubber all have 3-zones and chock-able! They look and sound great! $99. For each size and they will work on most other name kits! Simmons also released KP-180 $250. Wooden shell Bass E-drum "So you can upgrade all your older, or cheaper e-drum kits to be on par with Alesis, Roland, etc. upper end models! This is a Game Changer!

Do they (anyone) make an e kit where, you pick the snare you like, as dude was doing here in the video, but then you turn the lugs like a regular drum and it tunes that drum, like a conventional, acoustic set would? . Like, you pick the shell, a 14x8 aluminum, lets say, then tune it? You're welcome, Alesis, if not.

@@Lee-fn6en Blind. And touchscreens aren't great for live use. damage it and you can't use the module. Hit a traditional interface with a stick and you might put a dent in it but the buttons still work.

It's actually fine as long as accessibility solutions are integrated. iOS and Android for example both have screenreaders which work well with a touchscreen so they are totally useable. But eDrum companies aren't interested in accessibility. I used to be a software developer and have even offered to develop the solutions and provide them for free with no licensing or royalties. Yet companies like Native Instruments have built accessibility into products like Komplete and Maschine, and it's made them millions.

Yeah, I truly believe Alesis is "missing" the points that real musicians want! We don't care about hundreds of sounds that we will probably never need or want to use! Just give quality in the equipment, more zones(3) on the cymbals,snare and toms! With several different Basic drum kit sounds like Hard Rock, Metal, Pop, Jazz, Country, Electronica. We don't need all that other crap packed in the module! It is truly a waste of time and money. If we don't like the sounds we can link up to EzDrummer or some other drum program to get better sounds or other genres than the basic stuff! Then Alesis could sell this kit at a much more affordable price! They need to get back to basics and use the KISS Formula...."Keep It Simple Stupid!" These E-drum kits and companies all are getting out of hand with the jacked up prices! Have they not heard we are having a bad economy worldwide and inflation is high!? Most people don't have money to burn! Simplify, quality and lower prices! Thank you.

Keep talking to the walls someone will listen. 1. 95% of the sounds on the kit are usable and there’s maybe like 2 gimmicky kits out of 70+ There’s plenty of options to choose from. Maple kits, birch, copper, steel, etc. 2- The cymbals have 3 zones, did you even look it up? Why would you need 3 zones on toms and snares, 2 is more than enough. 3- What’s your point about ezdrummer or drum programs, if you have an issue then sure use it, that’s literally any electronic drum set. Even though most of these kits pretty useable, let’s just say sure you don’t like the sounds, are you trying to say you want them to sell the drums without a module or a shell of a module? That’s a pretty stupid and bad idea. 4- The kit already comes with pretty good quality stuff, the cymbals are really nice and come with large sizes, this is just a budget smaller version. Idk about how well the kit will last long term but the quality itself looks pretty good. Again have you ever looked at these kits or tried them or are you just shouting nonsense?? What are you getting at? this is a pointless conversation and I can tell you’ve never used these kits ever, how about you actually use them before yelling about nothing to nobody! Thank you. Ps. There’s no “we” in this conversation, it’s only you. Also no need to be yelling!!!!!

Totally. I have Alesis Strike Pro SE and I use 2 kits. I’d rather have a better digital snare/hihat/ride. Roland drop their prices and drummers will drop the Alesis. No question
