Y'know the idea of a cartoon universe that's semi-self-aware of it's return to the status quo each episode so that a character could just go ballistic and kill everyone and it'll all just be normal again the next day is kind of a horrifying idea. Stuck in a world where nothing ever changes, where nothing matters, stuck in an endless loop that eats away at your sanity, but even the disturbing mess that happens as a result to that breakdown is gone the next day. Course, this creepypasta did it badly. Someone should make a legit scary story about that.

What's funny is that this is accurate to newer Spongebob episodes. Characters would do horrible things to each other now. Krabs would push a friend into a speeding bus for the change in his pocket. Patrick is a selfish, destructive person and a terrible friend to Spongebob. Spongebob loves his job so much that he doesn't care about his life outside, or Gary or his friends. And the show today does have this strange obsession with body and creature horror.

The thing that ruined it for me is they never describe some creepy, uncanny distortion of the visuals, except for static over Squidward's dead face; and by then, it's too late. I just imagined the scene of Patrick going to Spongebob's house and wrecking it like it was animated and scored like any other episode. Even when he dismembers Spongebob, they don't describe "realistic blood" or anything, so I just imagined Spongebob hopping out of his house on one foot and missing half his head, *which we have seen before and know he can survive.*

This reminded me, many years ago I was hanging out in Spongebob Wiki and found an article about an episode "Red Mist" where an author was writing about an episode sent into Nick with creepy Squidward and dead children and creepy eyes and so on... You know the gist, it was either someone trying to imitate Squidwards Suicide or made a story that became eventually it, I'm not sure, but what was impressive was that someone went all the way, creating SEVERAL articles about it, one main and others to have links from it to make it more believable as if it happened for real... oh and of course there was a link to the video of showing of a VHS tape containing full episode, that will be uploaded to youtube after 10 000 subs...
