This actually wasn't a bad batch. There were a couple I unironically liked, and a couple more that were bad in execution, but had a decent idea. The nursing home one was actually probably the best of the bunch to me... its only shortcoming being that it's apparently so easy to misunderstand, thanks to the nature of telling an entire story in two sentences. It perfectly captures the confusion, disorientation, and primal terror that comes with developing dementia, and the exhaustion and strain it puts on the rest of your family.

If y’all REALLY want to write twist villains as the narrator, try reading Lolita and referencing how Humbert lies with every word, but occasionally lets slip that Dolores is actively trying to get away from him. Throughout most of the book, he explains Dolores’ actions like a lover’s, but when she fights back he calls it “hissy fits” and “temper tantrums.” In short, watching your language and only implying that bad things are happening is the best way to go about this
