For those not familiar with American Baseball, a double header is when you play two games back to back on the same day. So you're not just getting one Two-fer, you're getting two Two-fers! That means 2 knives followed by two more knives for the price of one episode! The Two For Tuesday Open Tag is the brainchild of Tom from ‪@knifedelights7473‬ Thanks Tom!

I’m 62 years old and still get thrilled when I watch a Lone Ranger episode I haven’t seen before. And I have a fondness for those kinds of boy’s knives, because boy’s knives helped them to become men. I never got a Lone Ranger knife, but I did manage to pick up a Roy Rogers knife way back when.

Great video! I really enjoyed the discussion on opening blades with the backsprings in mind for display. That crushed abalone is gorgeous!

I love those 'end of day' covers. Affordable individuality. I've yet to snag one over in the UK, but one day... Thanks for showing them 👍.

Beautiful scales. Abalone harvesting has been baned in California for over a year. It's been over 35 years since easy pickin' off the rocks at low tide was viable. There's been better days on the coast.

Making scales out of the factory scraps is genius. I wonder if they charged more or less for them.

Very colorful selections this week. You are right, about 10 years ago I picked up a Frost 3 blade toothpick for the same reasons you mentioned. Cool little knife but I don't need a second as mine is sparkly & pink abalone. lol

Those are really cool 😎, reminds me of a calico cat . Is that a burlap sack in the background ?
@KnifeChatswithTobias

It is indeed burlap. I actually bought about six yards of burlap for the sole purpose of background. I was looking for something that would be neutral in color and would not mess around with camera focus. I also wanted it to be somewhat distinctive.

@KnifeChatswithTobias One of my neighborhood pals had an Ernie Banks glove; I had a Phil Rizutto model. In fact, it's still up in my garage.
