I love ur bunnies' cage area. It's so nice and big. My Holland lop, Neptune has a cage like yours but it's only one pen and he has the rest of the room as a play area. How many pens put together is your rabbit cage?

ahh I'm so sorry that I am late to replying Annie! that is absolutely amazing, congratulations! how old are you? I am asking just so I know the "life stage" you are in. When I was in high school/middle school, I went to public school and I SO BADLY wanted to move away to a professional ballet school, but my parents never let me. But now that I have graduated, I am kinda glad they made me finish high school regularly because I got that normal high school experience. However, I felt like I was behind in my ballet training. I had been dancing at my home studio from the age of 4 to the time I graduated. While I received good training, these were teachers that I've known for 14 years and I constantly felt like I needed MORE. I only had ONE main ballet teacher at my home studio, and I wanted to have multiple eyes looking at me and correcting me so I could be a more well-rounded dancer. Now that I am at BalletMet, I feel so fulfilled because I have a new teacher every day and every hour and I spend 6+ hours everyday doing something I love. For me, if I was in your position, I would go to that ballet company, but that is because I have realized that ballet is something I want to do for the rest of my life. If you truly love ballet and want to make it into a career, it is in your best interest to receive professional training. Reflect on what you would be missing if you decided to go to a ballet company. You might be missing that regular high school/college experience, but if ballet is TRULY what you love, you have to make sacrifices. Tbh I only had a close, small circle of friends in high school, and that's about the only thing I would have missed if I moved away. I still keep in touch with them now that we've graduated, and while I do feel like I'm missing out on that fun college experience, I am spending my life doing what I truly love and THAT is worth it to me. Just give yourself time to reflect and realize what you truly want, and you will end up where you're supposed to be ❤

@@RiannaTalento Don't worry about it! I am 13 going on 14 soon and I will definitely consider what I would be missing if I do or don't go away from home. I have been dancing since I was 5 and it has really become a part of my life. The company did say that if my parents don't want me to leave home then I could have someone come over, from the company, and teach me until it was time and I could visit the actual company during the holidays. My current teacher really wants me to go far and turn a hobby and passion into a career because she believes in me, she's basically like a second mum/mom. Thanks for replying. For cutting your hair once a year something I do is I donate it. There is a great place in Michigan by me that does it but I would not recommend locks of love because they aren't the best. But finding somewhere local and donating once a year is pretty good.

aww! I once quit dance because of a teacher as well. I was ignored in class a lot, I grew tired of it, and I quit for 4 months. But look where I am now! This quote "Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn't give you credit" is what brought me back to ballet and has kept me going ever since. I have now realized that I'm dancing and improving for MYSELF and nobody else ❤

What do you do on your period, I’m getting mine in a summer intensive and we can’t wear warmups

I’m going to be in the same boat this year for summer intensive! But what I recommend is to change your tampon/pad right before ballet class, and then during any break you get. I had to go through this struggle for past summers, but if you change right before class, you have less of a chance of leaking! Also, always bring an extra leotard and tights. Don’t be embarrassed if an accident does happen. I can’t tell you how many accidents I’ve had! You are surrounded by women who are going through the same thing as you. They will understand ❤️

I’m not exactly sure, I just have to do it 🤣 I guess bc we have a policy where we’re not allowed to have any part of our body touching the floor when we’re stretching or dancing (it’s to prevent us from touching anything and spreading germs). So maybe they just don’t want us to be barefoot when walking around? I personally wouldn’t do that anyway haha. Cutting the straps is safer for the environment! If somehow a mask ends up in the ocean, the loops may get tangled around an animal and trap them. If you cut them, there is less likely of a chance of that happening. ❤️

It is NEVER too late to start dance!! even though many of us started when we were in the single digits, you have the advantage of being older, more mature, and you can pick up on things quicker. you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to, and there are so many youtube videos online for beginners so you can get a head start too! Just out of curiosity, I wondered why you cut the straps of that mask - after a quick research I found it's to prevent animals from getting tangled. Got it. BUT. Why don't you just use reusable, washable masks if you care for the environment? It's so much better to simply wash them, you can even iron them if they are made of cotton.

Aw I'm so happy you loved my video! My dance studio requires us to wear disposable masks everyday just to make sure it is a fresh mask. We line up every morning and as we walk in, we take off the mask we are wearing and they give us a new one to wear for the day. When I'm not in the studio, I wear reusable masks made from cloth. I wish I could wear them at the studio so there is less waste, but we're not allowed to :(

You can do ballet no matter what your body type is! People think that ballet dancers need to be stick thin, but really it is more about being FIT rather than thin and being the healthiest version of yourself. You can start ballet again at any time. You may feel behind, but since you are 15 and more mature, you have the age advantage and can pick up things quickly. Your body will remember it! I am so sorry your mom won't let you take class. Is it because she thinks dance will get in the way of school? With great time management and dedication, you can do both! The majority of my dance friends and I graduated as honors graduates all while dancing 20+ hours a week. I hope somehow she will let you go back to dance, I love you! ❤

Hi! I use equine pine wood stove pellets in my litter box now because it's cheaper than paper cat litter. Their litter box is much bigger now so I needed a cheaper alternative ☺ and I used to put doggy pee pads under the litter but my rabbits tend to chew on it so I stopped using it. For their hay, It's held in a hay box above their litter box because if I put the hay directly in the litter box, they pee on it and waste it :( haha just do whatever's best for your buns, mine are trouble-makers 😤

To prevent the loops getting wrapped around an animal and trapping them if the mask somehow ends up in the ocean! If you cut the loops of a mask, there is a less likely chance of that happening ❤

You don’t have to be skinny and flexible to do ballet but you do have to be in order to be successful. You can definitely dance and enjoy it without looking a certain way

I would say if you want to do ballet professionally, it is more about being FIT rather than skinny. There is this notion that ballet dancers need to be stick thin, but really this is not ideal because you need a lot of strength and stamina to be a dancer. As for flexibility to be a professional, nowadays it is more about artistry and not really how high your leg is. I would say you at least need to be able to bring your leg 90 degrees front and back and a little higher than 90 to the side. But you absolutely DO NOT need to be able to wrap your leg around your head, the majority of dancers (including me) don't have this type of flexibility haha. Today, there is really no ideal body type for ballet. Sara Mearns made a post on instagram saying "Being a ballet dancer does NOT mean being skinny, it means being the strongest healthiest version of yourself" and I 100% agree with this!
