A U.S. Doctor's Quest To Save Patients in India With Peripheral Artery Disease

We are joined by Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Vinod Chainani, Director of Mission P.A.D., an initiative to bring advanced care to medical deserts around the world, starting with India.
In our inaugural international event this past spring, Dr. Chainani led a Mission P.A.D. team to Jaipur, India, working in conjunction with Dr Prakash Chandwani of CKS Hospitals, to educate and treat the local residents and residents of surrounding villages.
With the support of major healthcare corporations like Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Cook, and Cordis along with donations from passionate individuals, the Global PAD Association was able to help dozens of patients in India and will address the disease burden of PAD affecting people who do not have the resources or ability to obtain treatment.
