Ruth, your very few interuptions were entirely valid, you "paused" Patrick at times when he made extremely important points in order to draw attention to viewers to them, rather than them being missed. Good work

Thank you this is enlightening. I am age 60. I have tried to reduce seed oils and increase omega 3 in my diet and now my arthritis type pain has gone and I felt I had early dementia as I struggled to remember things, but am now much better. Thankfully we eat enough fish but struggle with iron levels, we think this is a family genetic thing. As soon as I use seed oils rather than ghee, olive oil or coconut oils, and eating nuts the pain comes back in my joints and muscles.

Have you had your iron levels checked or done a comprehensive blood panel? It’s worth having this done and checked by a qualified, up to date, functional medicine practitioner as there may be more specifics you need to focus on based on your genetic profile, food choices and types of supplements used. The dance played between our unique makeup and what we put in or on our bodies is fundamentally important. Also glad you’ve sorted your omega 3 to 6 ratio by removing seed oils high in omega 6. So many people miss this and suffer needlessly.

@@CC-RaptureANYsecond thanks for your question. With regards to your B12 and Omega3 index, I would first recommend you get your levels checked through a simple blood test of both. You can get your B6 and B12 levels checked by many suppliers or your primary care doctor. I use Medichecks: medichecks.sjv.io/doDJ07. For Omega-3, you will need to get your Omega-3 index tested and they will advise the right level of supplementation based on your current Omega-3 index. The more globally accessible supplier is omegaquant.com/ref/151. Optimise based on the guidance given. For B12 it is recommended you are over 300pmol/L in the USA to avoid deficiencies. Ensure you use the appropriate B12 to your gene-type. www.optimaldx.com/research-blog/b12-deficiency-part-3 Hope that helps?

love every thing you do to educate people, that what we eat, is what will give us all good overall health. it should be taught in all schools, and WOW, won`t that change the world into living longer and better quality of life( not spending our last years of life in pain and debilitated). thank you for your on going campaigns. truly remarkable.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. Will keep the information coming. Wouldn’t it be amazing for all schools to be taught how to be Wellbeing Warriors for themselves and the planet?! It will happen.

Does omega 3 help reduce inflammation which is the cause of old age conditions like dementia, arthritis and cardio vascular diseases?
@drruthmaryallan7 ай бұрын
Yes it can do at the appropriate levels. You are best getting your omega 3 levels checked led through a simple omega-3 index test and then optimising accordingly through diet or supplements, but it’s most effective used in combination with B12 per the interview. You can visit my website homepage and click on the omega index test to get one ordered. Please consult with a qualified, up to date medical practitioner before taking supplements.

So what dose of vitamin B should we take? I eat meat and eggs etc. Do I have enough anyway?
@drruthmaryallan6 ай бұрын
It’s difficult to advise what dose you should take, but I would recommend you get your levels checked and talk with a functional medicine nutritionist to advise on how best to include it in your diet if you don’t want to supplement.
