Bling and a class act , very nice 👍. So basically just motor mount , body posts, and info leaflet for body cutting to be ticked off . Really looking forward to see this run . As always a great video Vas , thanks.

The ground clearence a bit high because you havent put any electric combo on it. And about the window mask,you can use the supplied mask ,just stick it inside instead on the outside,and switch it left to right side. I have B8 er and the ultimate ultra rare b8 Naga

Awesome looking car. Just wanted to mention one thing. You really don't want to use droop screws to set ride height. Doing so basically eliminates your suspensions down travel which will make off-road handling suboptimal.
@AussieRCPlayground Жыл бұрын
Yeah, fair point. I usually only use them to set the limit of the shock length or if I'm doing speed runs and don't want the chassis to lift on acceleration and while keeping the car low.
@DoRC Жыл бұрын
@@AussieRCPlayground Yeah for speed runs It's not a problem but it can definitely be negatively impactful off-road. Also looking car! Hopefully team magic decides to have more of a presence here in the United States sometime in the future I would love to try this stuff out

Those servos 'look' real nice. Had one of the gears inside split fairly quickly, so beware. Hopefully u have better luck with it than I did. Nice buggy though.

I think it would definitely look odd, but I kinda wanna see it in the suggested 6S configuration. Wonderful presentation as always, V.

Love this looks sweet! I think Team magic makes or sells some of the 1/8 scale line under Red Cat Racing in the State’s. I’m pretty sure?? Great video thanks 🙏

Yeah never understood why manufacturers include a pinion, I mean there are so many options that the owner could use the chances of a 14T pinion for example suiting his purposes is pretty slim.

aluminum body post serve no purpose on a buggy, they are completely protected being so much lower than the shock towers and wing. I imagine they might even be harder on the holes the sit inside.

its a good looking buggy unless the body is cut for 6s mode, then its not a good looking buggy, id just use a smaller 6s.

This is the regular Pirates 3 chassis which was released several years ago. And it is pure garbage. Stay away from it!

Seriously, can any manufacturer in the world of rc get anything right? Clear body shell - good - paint custum colours. No window masks - rediculus. 2 different body shell lines to suit 4s or 6s - rediculus. Body shell wobble - not good. Tyres look cheap, shocks look weak. Very average rc car. Nice review Vas

Droop screw is not for adjusting ride height, it’s for adjusting…….. droop…

Two major let downs from a new offering. Gear mesh that is a pain to set and then the steering is impeded by the body. Two things people probably want the most... Great steering and rock solid gear mesh.... Meh looks good though, very nice!
@AussieRCPlayground2 жыл бұрын
Well, the steering thing is just a matter of cutting the body, which isn't a big deal, albeit annoying, but I do agree the motor mount should be better.

The body would have made me very upset. Probably ruined the build. The car itself looks great

The B8ER is a nice car, is very smooth on the drivetrain but the durability is very bad. On my normal B8ER the motor mount is screwed with only 2 M3 screws on the chassis. On me this screews are often broken and i must buy another motor mount. After the third i am go to a metal worker that makes me holes in the mount to M4 screews and after that this is never broken but i have trouble with the shoks there leaking. The rear chassis brace is with a thicknes of 4mm to thin and brakes on the screew holes (M3). The price for the special edition is horible. more as twice the price for the normal B8ER ARR. Absolutly nonsense. For the windows to protect from painting you can use the stickers for the windows.

I really like the body on this one. It's just sad we can't get team magic in the UK :( I used to get parts from Taiwan or Hong Kong but it's too expensive now
@jRColt19112 жыл бұрын
But I know you like them but team Magic- Red Cat absolutely suck! Every car I bought from them has been junk and they're customer support in the US is horrible! They have one guy that works out of his basement or garage I think. Hopefully this support for them is better in Australia
