Poor ole Brian Canterberry wanted to be a bridge painter but could only afford one can of paint. Few people know this but Brian didn't own a boat, he just treaded water while making motor sounds with his mouth. Every time he had to shake the can he would go under. One time while he was shakin and idlin he got water in his breather and the motor died. He went on to that big boat slip in the sky. I think its safe to say he was an inspiration to all who knew him. I really have to get out more

From the looks of it Brian should have been fishing in that spot instead of painting.
@turdferguson5300 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelapple2753 Actually that's how he got the idea for becoming a bridge painter. As I said Brian didn't own a boat but he didn't like to be alone so he invited people to go with him. They'd wrap their arms around his neck as he treaded water. It wasn't easy to swim with rods, bait, and a buddy, while makin motorboat sounds but Brian wasn't opposed to work. Well the years started catchin up with ole Brian and the charter business had to close. He liked the shade of the bridges and almost never got rained out so that's where the idea of bridge painting came from. I hope this helps explain the life of local legend Brian Canterberry.

I didn't believe you could catch fish on artificial from the bank and all the fish I've caught so far this year has been from artificial and stringing together techniques that you shown in this videos.

I've been using loop knots for years now. I saw a video recently comparing six different ways to attach a lure to a line. This was a scientific study with moving water is a tank. It concluded that there was no discernible difference in tying the lewer straight to the line as opposed to tying it with a loop knot. They also concluded that the eye of the lure moving inside of the loop can abraid the loop and cause it to fail. I have hadvmy line break inside the loop a least half a dozen times.
