I also agree. I am a sound designer and it's my job to add music at appropriate points in plays or films. It helps build the drama if done skilfully. But we also have to know when NOT to add music -- at a moment like this one, where a real-life exchange of great emotional significance is talking place, adding music makes it sound like a script. These stories are poignant enough on their own -- adding music to them is distracting at best and it can also cheapen the genuine feelings being expressed.
