Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. It was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game were granted early access to the game on November 15, 2018, and Origin Access Premium subscribers on PC received access to the game on November 9, 2018. The game is based on World War II and is a thematic continuation of its World War I based precursor Battlefield 1.
Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. There will be an expanded focus on player customization through the new Company system, where players will be able to create multiple characters with various cosmetic and weapon options. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.

The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. Play pacific maps for the lack of proper AA defense, farming gallore, amirite? I do think you are a decent pilot but you wouldn't even see scores close to that on the regular maps. These people below commenting that they learned something from this is laughable ... no team play, no squad work, just flying over the resupply and shooting rockets from a distance .... err ... I also don't know why the competition is lacking so much down under ... you guys have like 2 people that fly ... it seems. Either way, you just showcased why you shouldn't play pacific maps as infantry ... worst maps ever.

This is on a Singapore server most of my flying is there because Australia servers disable third person. "You wouldnt come close to these scores on regular maps" I think that applies to everyone, no one hits their best scores on European maps but the game before this was like 80-0 on fjell

@@SilkOCE that's right you guys got those badmins policing the servers and I'm sure pilots aren't welcome ... wish you were on our side of the pond and we could have some nice skirmishes. I enjoy playing against great pilots and we can all grow together. The air is super toxic with some people and I'm part of that as I feed of that negative energy. I'd like to see you fly more regular maps ;). GG

I just got into multiplayer on BF5 and I love flying. I’m getting my pilots license soon and I’ve played everything from Ace Combat, Blazing Angels, and Flight Simulator. But I cannot get the flight mechanics and maneuvers or controls down for BF5. Flying in BF5 is no joke. I really want to be a good pilot in this game ever since I took down my first Zero over Iwo Jima with my Corsair. edit: How do you change the color of your recital?

Loving the video silk I have the exact same load out on my zero m5 and have similar strategy and priorities with attacking. I'm not as good at spotting infantry though and sometimes can't help chasing enemy fighters more than I need to which stops me getting as many kills because they respawn wanting revenge lol but at least it keeps them off the teammates on the ground

These are the types of videos that inspire me to fly on Battlefield - only for me to realize how difficult it is when you're constantly fucked over by DICE's atrocious server connectivity issues and general dicks in AA vehicles who can snipe you with them from across the map.

I found your channel suggested by aka-art. I just got into bf games since this year ,with all the lockdown and shit. I am a csgo faceit and r6 player so after I learned the maps bf is awsome,and as any infantry class i am most of the time top fragger. But recently I started getting into flight, but damnn is impossible to learn to much since there are AA tanks everywhere and as soon as i get a plane on my six is 100% death before I figure out what to do. I am comfortable with my controls and i learn most of the important manoeuvres as the pich back or the roll etc, but i cant figure it out how is that when a plane is on my six i can’t shake it off but when i am the one attacking it takes forver to kill and i lose him.

Question one. When you use planes in BFV or any BF Title how are you able to plan your engagements against ground targets? My eyes aren't the best but I am wondering how you find those clumps of enemies from a distance and how do you gauge the distance to make your strafing runs accurate? Second Question. If there is a enemy plane who is obviously superior to me in dogfighting is it best to avoid most engagements or actually attempt to counter him?
