Ok gosh, I feel your pain. I had nausea 24 hours a day, vomited at least twice at day. When people talk about the labour pains I can’t relate bc as soon as I went into labour, was when my nausea stopped😂. I felt so good, myself again.

Seeing your comment. I was always wondering if sickness like that isnt a sign of prior digestive issues eveb minor ones but revealed because you can produce more gastic acids and such while prego. I had a friend with crohn disease and she was sick her entire pregnancy, it was obvious for me the real reason. Like her organs overworking too. She didnt change her diet a bit coz she "had her crohn's meds".

I am 16 weeks and have been suffering from intense nausea and vomiting since around 5-6 weeks. I lost 15 pounds my first trimester and had to get IV fluids multiple times a week to survive at my worst. I too am on a prescription medication that I take religiously and even then, I still have days I can’t keep anything down. It’s been so hard, pregnancy is an incredibly humbling and beautiful journey. Thank you for speaking the truth and making me feel so not alone 💛

Thank you for sharing such a raw first trimester. I'm currently 18 weeks with my first baby and the nausea absolutely took me out for the first 16 weeks. Also, ice cold apple juice and apple tango were a life saver! I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy 💕

Girl, you’re a rockstar. I’m currently almost 13 weeks and I’ve been about 80% bedridden since 6 weeks. I had HG with my first so what I have now is NOTHING like that, praise the Lord 😅 but the nausea is real! Nothing really helps sometimes and you have to eat and drink regardless. I’m so ready for the 2nd trimester bliss 😅

Did you not have HG the second time? I had the first time and so scared about getting pregnant again because HG was soo bad!
@kristincoorough6379 ай бұрын
@@hannahcollinson9309 I would say that I didn’t only because while I did lose weight I wasn’t throwing up constantly. I could eat and drink but was still very nauseous. But that was my main worry about getting pregnant again too! It’s so hard to know because some women it gets better and some it gets worse. Even thought this time was a little better for me I was still in bed for days and not able to care for myself properly so unless the Lord has other plans this will most likely be our last 😬 If you choose a second pregnancy I hope it gets better for you!! I’m so sorry you had to experience HG 😔

@@Patristarlightshop My midwife helped me by telling me to eat protein regularly. Any kind of meat. Torino’s Pizza Pockets helped for a bit until I would need them again. Preggy Pops from Walmart would take the edge off in between (prob helping me get mind off). As far as hydration, drink Watermelon Water with electrolytes from Walmart if you can consume and watermelon and cucumbers. I think the mixture of meat and cheese helped for some reason. Tacos 🌮 helped h til I got too nauseous thinking about eating them anymore.

@@kristincoorough637 There is supposedly a cure coming out and women are excited since they are afraid of it happening in their next pregnancy, but for me, Jesus was my cure. He healed me both times and I’m so thankful because I know it could have continued until delivery. I was able to consume water again after 4-5 months of not being able to. My dehydration was serious. Also try to get a Urinary probiotic if you are dehydrated and pure cranberry juice. Pure pineapple juice helped me some but the sugar content would affect my blood sugar (I’m hypoglycemic) Ultimately, lots of crying out to Jesus to pull me out of the endless crashing waves I felt I was drowning in was the best medicine because He would pull me up and calm my mind, soul, & body.

Oh my, do I remember those days! Felt nauseous from morning to night for over 3 months with both of my girls. Would go to bed about 8 o'clock, because then I could sleep, which was the only time I did not feel the nausea. Hardly ever threw up, which I would have preferred. With my son, the oldest, I was nauseous and very sensitive to smell, and I did throw up and usually felt better afterward. But with the girls it was a challenge. Not trying to sound dramatic, but there were days I thought I would not survive this. I got better though around the fourth month, and by month 5 I felt fantastic. Wishing you all the best!

As someone who has had multiple pregnancies as well as some miscarriages, a tip is that you can open the Digital Pregnancy Test to look at the strip itself. It basicqlly looks like a test strip on the inside where you can see the test and control line for yourseld. Sometime what's messed up is the actual mechanism that reads whether it's a positive or negative to show on the digital screen. Just FYI❤

Congratulations, hope by this time you are out of the nausea. I had my first DD not long after yours (2022 Aug) and now I am a week away from my due date with our second :) My 1st trimester with my second was pretty similar regarding symptoms and also a lot more intense, I had constant all-day nausea and even threw up multiple times a day from week 6 until week 14. Nausea only got better after week 18, then I had a month of feeling OKish until the heartburn started again (had the same with my first). This time even the heartburn was a lot worse, I actually asked for some medication for it that THANK GOD solved the issue. I am now actually feeling closest to normal and excited to meet the new member of our family. However, I remember how awful it was this time with my pregnancy so I already told my partner there is NO WAY I am having more than these 2 kids! He has to carry the next himself if he wants more :)

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you Jess! I think you're going to love being a mom of two I have a feeling! As a woman twice your age, I understand your kindness of you not wanting gabe to be let down if he didn't have to be, but it's his responsibility too, to be there for you during those hard and draining times of not getting a positive. He's wanting you to be pregnant also, so going through that shouldn't be solely on you alone! 😢 That honestly makes me sad to think about bc you're only thinking of protecting him when he should be thinking of supporting you! I mean, why was he not keeping up with when you start your period and asking questions like if you had started or were feeling like you might or not, asking if you were going to test, or when you were going to or wanting to test, etc? This isn't ONLY your job bc your the woman! It takes two and that goes for the WHOLE PROCESS! My heart just breaks for you bc it shows a glimpse into a piece of your relationship with him (tiny part i hope) that I could only wish and hope was better for you! Saying all of this with only care, concern and hope that you can see another side maybe and see that he CAN AND COULD do better and more! I just thought back to the other video when he was annoyingly saying y'all weren't actively trying and keeping up with when to partake in things, etc... THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN VERY CLEAR TO HIM IF HE WAS WANTING THIS CHILD TOO! We don't have to hide our periods or cycles and how they work from the men in our lives or even men in general! It's a natural part of being a woman!
@chelseyraper37519 ай бұрын
Thank you for speaking on this. I had HG which is a term that they called for extreme nauseous. And mine lasted the entire pregnancy. Just thinking about food or anything I was actually SCARED to eat or drink bc I didn’t want to throw up. I ended up being in hospital multiple times a week just bc I was so dehydrated half the time. They started me on a medication called zofran BUT they also have a picc and something else to administer the zofran rather than taking it as pill. It’s nice to know that there is other women that has gone through this. Its not as common as it should be on talking due to people not understanding or believing women that it’s more then “just nauseous, it’s normal” but it’s not normal to have to be on medication just to function during pregnancy. So I really do appreciate the talk on. You got this, stay strong!

Hope you're feeling much better now! Can you please share the details about the watch behind, next to the planter on the shelf. The shelf above the mixer. It looks really cool.

I also due in August. I suffered from terrible nausea until about week 13 and nothing helped... Everyone asked me if I was afraid of giving birth - I told them that Im afraid of experiencing this first trimester again. It sounds a little dramatic but it was from morning to night, sometimes I woke up in the middle of the night with nausea. The medicine didn't help me either, only made me more nauseous

My nausea was SO bad for 5 months with my son, literally the main reason I have one kid. I just couldn’t work and go through nausea again. I talk to people all day and work in healthcare so literally the nausea was brutal.

I had so much morning sickness but when I would have some bone broth as soon as I would wake up it would help and then I’d just stay snacking after that. Definitely helped
