I had a big limb to trim, nothing to prop a ladder on, uneven hillside, stepladder wouldn't do, so I took loader tractor out there, bucket under the limb, couldn't climb loader arms, so set ladder against bucket, climbed up, cut off limb. Worked so good, I got my Mom to drive tractor, and I just stayed up in the bucket. Trimmed overhanging limbs around most of the farm. Don't drive into groundhog holes, don't let the driver's foot slip off the clutch while you're leaning out the side halfway thru a cut, lower the dang bucket when limbs aren't so high, and be sure to lower the bucket before she leaves. Other than that, worked like a charm! Oh yeah, be ready at all times to grab the bucket, and hang on like grim death while running downhill over rough ground until the operator finds the bucket tilt lever, on purpose, and curls the bucket back up. Blue skies!

You have better roads for your taxes. In Indiana, we have low taxes, but horrible roads, schools that struggle, unfunded police, and firefighters. On a state level, we do okay but there are a lot of local communities that suffer more than they should due to people's hate of taxes. Also not so sure your bushes will come back. You may want to start over with smaller bushes and trim 2 times a year.

11:45 - I read an interview with an American ED nurse just recently. She said that after the rush of COVID patients, there was a bit of a lull in presentations, so it had gone back to "you know, sports injuries, kids crashing their bikes and old men falling off ladders..." In the opening sequence, the wood that was delivered onto your neighbor's driveway is definitely elm, 100%...I have lots of elm on my property. It would have been interesting to jab it with a moisture meter, standing dead elm is often 20%+ humidity when newly cut and split...he'll be disappointed if he tries to burn it right away. I wish I could post a photo of what seasoned elm looks like.

I had arborvitae at my old house and at my old rental houses I sold. Never again. Such a pain. No bang for the buck. After I moved from our old house in 2013, at some point, the new owners took out all the arborvitae. Don't blame him. The only bummer he took out a nice blue spruce tree about 50 or 60 feet tall in the front yard too. But, they keep up the old yard nice. They took out half my wood shed too, to put an rv.

Use grappell to remove bushes spread flower mix, use lots of different varieties, something is always blooming, pretty oh so pretty next fall after all dead, spread next year's flower mix, roll dead flowers flat by going perpindicular to your building, traps moisture for next spring's germination this will build organic soil for next plantings and alleviate needing to water simple, 1/2 - 1 hour to plant and roll...DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
