Fun fact: In Germany, where the Weck jars come from (named after Johann Weck) and where they've been popular since, the name even became a verb! Instead of the regular verb for canning, "einmachen", a lot of people say "einwecken". I think that's neat. They look great in your pantry, Kay. Oh, and your makeup and hair are gorgeous! 🤩

I am having one issue with the pop lids which is if the lids pop apart and are way too difficult to put back together. Wish the OXO company would allow us to exchange for new lids when they come apart over time. I guess it happens if your too rough with the lids as well so they are a little sensitive.

Iodized salt for baking maybe and that's why you have it (I know, you don't do a lot of baking lol)? I've been using a jar of bread salt from King Arthur for baking that's amazing, it's essentially sea salt and you can use it in anything. Redmond's is also delicious I've just found out. We do need iodine in our diet though, I get a small amount in a trace minerals supplement but if you eat seafood you can get it that way too. Iodine prevents goiter and helps your thyroid! P.S.
