@@apollovic I really appreciate that because to me, when it comes to making art, that’s what it’s all about. And so you honor me with that, thank you very much. And thanks for coming through and taking the time to let me know, I don’t take that for granted.

Thank you for sharing this. Mothers back in that era were the backbone of the family. Dads were strong leaders but behind every great man, stands a great woman. This was really so beautiful. My father was in the military and we moved every 3 to 4 years like clock work so it was hard to make friends. The story of your mom made me smile, laugh and eyes teared up. Your a very lucky man to have a mom and a dad that loved you so much. Stay blessed and take care of yourself. Again, thank you for sharing your story.

Thanks so much for this. I had a girlfriend in college who moved around with her military father all the time as well, and I know it was difficult for her, but it also made her a little bit different, and I would always say better than the rest of us because she was so much more experienced than most people. Had much more empathy than most people because she knew what it was like to be around different types of people all the time. But I know it was hard for her as well. My grandmother was definitely the leader of my family for sure, and after she passed away, my mother took that role, and unquestionably she was the boss. :-) I know that she gave my father a lot of confidence to take risks that he never would’ve taken on his own. She pushed him to get out of his comfort zone all the time. I always felt like my parents were trying to figure out how to deal with this adopted child that they had, but in the end, I was incredibly fortunate to land where I did. As my grandmother used to say, “anything could’ve come of you“. So true. Anyway, thanks so much for coming through and for taking the time to share this with me, I greatly appreciate it. Have a beautiful day.
