KZbin is not like any other art medium. Your are essentially forced to put out content to remain relevant. I think it’s an important part of the journey for a creator when they finally learn to let go a little bit and not romanticize every single aspect of a video. If you were to become a super successful KZbinr doing your plays you’d still have to publish them at a rate much higher than any traditional theater artist. I understand that’s likely not your goal but i do think it’s worth noting that you don’t get to chose where the audience finds value. As long as your heart is in the right place it will always reasonate

Thank you, I appreciate this. It's hard for me to separate KZbin from art, but at the same time, I can''t possibly approach KZbin like I do a film or a play, so... searching for the happy medium, but always gonna be genuine to who I am. Thanks again for taking the time to come thru and contribute, means a lot.

One of the main reasons I love your content is that I relate to so much of what you talk about in your videos. About being an artist. The importance of engaging with the creator community. Some times I don't leave a comment because I feel that you said something that I was thinking as well. So, I didn't want to simply echo what you were saying as it would just sound repetitious. No matter what, you always bring a fresh perspective to your art through your videos. And as such, I find new inspiration to keep going with my own projects. I can't thank you enough for that. I just hope I can return the favor some day and inspire others as you have. Thank you.

Appreciate this, and I'm really looking forward to more of your work. I'm sure it will inspire many people to push the boundaries of their own, and that's the coolest part of being here. To lift others while we do the work ourselves, always working to find new places to explore with our creative selves... Onward!!

Great video Wilk, I really think you’ve found your rhythm with this video and if you keep making them like this you’ll perfect your formula! This was super engaging and seamless, the story telling was masterful, great job!

Rock, you're doing something with the KZbin talking head that is different, sometimes subtly and sometimes vastly, and it benefits all creators who come across it, I think. For instance the use of music, or the switch in locations and even topics, felt a little jarring at first, but once you get attuned to it, it's like another way of communicating that shakes a viewer out of expectation and complacency. But always relatable. But if you do throw the camera on without a plan, I still don't think you could make a boring video. Some of the best professors I had seemed to just start talking sometimes...there's something to be said. Hope you don't abandon extemporaneous videos entirely...but either way, it's always worthwhile stopping in here. Peace.

THIS right here, I really appreciate. You know, when I look back at that video from the other day, it's really not as bad as I thought. I guess I'm used to having every word scripted in my theater and film work, and although I have never scripted a single word here, I always seem to have a very clear idea of what I want to say when I hit "record", and the other day, I didn't. But who knew??? It came out okay. In any case, I appreciate these words of encouragement, they are powerful, and I don't take them for granted. Also, my list of films to watch is growing with each video of yours that I watch, and so THANK YOU for that. Hope all is well, and have a beautiful day.

Im only 2 videos in. Im hearing me, me, me. There is distracting, unnecessary music. The one thing that is missing in this video is a shift in focus from putting your thoughts out there vs YOU. What are you going to do to help others grow?
@FollowYourBlissLife17 күн бұрын
I wish you well on your journey but think there are easy fixes but big mind shift changes needed otherwise you will continue to grow slowly or insignificantly. Just reply if you want to stay in touch.

AI is going to crush artists, musicians, actors. In my view you might as well start an extra new channel documenting: My journey to becoming an AI artist. A new channel because KZbin uses the statistics of the past videos to determine your youtube growth and if it sense subscriber growth is low, it won't push your videos out.

@@Relaxingpeacefulcalming honestly, as a revolutionary act perhaps, I'm not really interested in becoming an "AI artist". As much as I am certain you are absolutely right about this, I just can't do it. As a writer for my whole career, not just a performer, no AI will ever write a word from me. Not anywhere not ever. :-) I just can't go there. But having said that, I'm sure you are correct about all of this, and I'm just fighting the inevitable. Story of my life. ;)
