21:30 clearly she meant being able to go further out from your base. Expanding your hunting regions. Not sure why that was a concept he couldn't grasp, it's perfect logical sense. To put it in video game terms, you now have access to new areas that you didn't before (because before, you wouldn't be able to feasibly go beyond set radius of your basecamp). Dude, what's hard about that concept lol.

Though not necessary in the show, the action sequence in the game, were you fight alongside David, is useful to build trust in the character by the player before the reveal of his true intent. So the action does help the story arc in the game.

Yeah that was an example of gameplay being used to add to the player experience. You felt a connection to David because he was essentially the Joel in that section. Nice bit of compare and contrast.

I like the game to series adaption conversation. I think it's one of the best adaptions simply because if the series had come first, and the game was adapted from it, it would still hit the same plot points while infusing gameplay mechanics the game currently has. More player interaction and infected scenarios to keep the player engaged. Imagine adapting an RPG and people upset that all of the 1000+ enemy encounters weren't included in the show. Different mediums demand different methods of delivery.

As someone who has played the game several times over. I would say that some of the story in the game is told via gameplay, not as much as something like the arkham games, but it is. I would say the shoe doesnt need alot of action, but i would say, having a bit more action or presence of enemies would help the world and make the threat feel more present as well. Like they dont need to do the same level as the game, but at times, at least once or twice more htey needed to sneak a bit, or in some scenes have more infected people. Really make it feel like there could be anything anywhere. Doesnt need to be much, just a tad bit more in the show as is. As alot of that stuff are things they HAVE to do, not just for the sake of gameplay. I would also say the action scene with David and Ellie adds to the trust built through working together and helping each other to get through surviviing the infected. Again doesnt need to be as much, but just enough to get that throught more as a part f the demands of the world by the people living in it

Having consulted my dad (who has years of experience working in surgery), you'd want to inject the penicillin in healthy muscle nearish the wound, but not in heavily afflicted areas like the wound itself and the immediate inch(es) around it. You *could* instead inject into fat instead of muscle, but while it'd be a bit less painful, the uptake time would be slower, so muscle would be recommended in an emergency scenario like this. That being said, it wouldn't give you a sudden energy-strength boost to go on a murder-hobo rampage; that's just the show/game being a show/game 😂 #TheMoreYouKnow

As far as Bella vs Ashley goes in this episode, I think it benefitted greatly from knowing 100% the direction TLoU2 brings Ellie. They got to make subtle changes in her personality and allowed her anger to come out a little more. In the game, they didn’t know how exactly they were going to take her character. They’ve set up this violence and ferocity in Ellie all season, which really made it work well for this episode in particular.

David's group was out looking for supplies, seeing an old man and child with a well stocked horse? What an easy target! They go after Joel in this episode because they know he was injured between what the others that were at the University told David and the fact Ellie has been alone all this time and was asking for antibiotics. They expected to be searching for a young defenseless girl and a very injured and incapacitated man. Easy pickings. Didn't expect Ellie to be that resourceful and a fighter and for Joel to be able to power through to save Ellie.

There are different types of penicillin, some are orally ingested, some injected, some given intravenously. I don't recall seeing what type Ellie had, but generally you inject it into the bloodstream or a muscle every 3-6 hours, though dose size varies. Into the abdomen is a bit risky because you could miss a muscle and it didn't seem likely she was hitting a vein. Interesting that penicillin is a product we get from fungus. Also, on the fire, as in the game that was a former restaurant...it's a resort town so I don't think the other cultists were living in that building. That was their church and mess hall. Only one episode left to bring up those cordyceps "networks" that they added to the lore in episode 2. So I guess that only mattered that one time in that episode.

They say it's for pirate control and that's bullshit and they know it. People will find a way to pirate and RIP it somehow no matter how well your platform is protected. However, worsening the viewing experience for people using a PC, a big chunk of the population is not only discriminating but also just bad practice for UX. Crunchyroll just recently capped resolution to HD on firefox, cuz they apparently don't meet some requirements or some shit. I literally had to move my PS4 from the living room to the desk and plug it into my monitor just to watch TV Shows in good quality and actually utilize the subscription that I pay for. I literally can get better quality from torrent cuz streaming platforms didn't hear about QHD, with my QHD monitor I can download 4K episode and watch it in that QHD resolution with 4K bitrate, but no I can not have this for streaming services that I actually pay for... fuck the corporates...
