One rainy night, I came home from First Friday Adoration at our Parish, I suddenly felt ill, having a headache that lasted about 2-4 days. I asked God to heal me, I tried to take my meds, massage my head, but I am still in pain! I was even about to pray "Compline" or Night prayer of the Church at 9:30, I was unable to rise from my bed. By day and by night, I was bothered by this painful headache. When I saw this video, I asked God to heal me, that I may use my strength to pray and persevere in my daily life. I participated by saying the Confiteor, and the other responses as well. On the part of annointing of the palms of my hands and my head, *I used an Exorcised Oil*, Prayed the Spiritual Communion, I was Hoping that I can get to wake up to pray Morning prayer. At 5:30 in the morning, I woke up, and I am glad my headache is gone! Alleluia! Our Lord Jesus, with the Help of the Blessed Virgin of Carmel healed me! Let me address the concerns that some of our listeners have raised. This is a "Virtual Anointing" and by that I am not claiming that is the full experience of the Sacrament of the Sick. But at this time when priests are not allowed into hospitals, nursing home, or in many cases to visit the sick, this prayer experience on-line is meant to be a comfort. If you listen to my words carefully I had hoped that this would be clear. But apparently not. Just as parishes around the world are offering Masses on line and are encouraging a "spiritual communion" which is not a "sacramental communion" but nevertheless an important way to receive Jesus into our hearts, so this prayer video is meant to be a comfort. If the words "Spiritual Anointing" are more helpful to you, then substitute those words for "Virtual Anointing" because this is the sense in which this prayer is intended. The sacraments are a primary means through which grace is meditated, but they are not the only way. The on-line videos that are posted in abundance around the world today are helping us stay strong in our faith when the sacraments are not available to the faithful.

The Lord led me to this video a month ago when me and my husband, Michael were admitted in the hospital at different facilities. He was diagnosed with COVID while I was miraculously negative hence I was isolated in a different quarantine area in a different hospital. I prayed this and I also sent it to him. I believe he also prayed with you. I was healed and never was positive for Covid after 3 swabs during my 14 days quarantine. Unfortunately my husband’s condition worsen after 4 days of admission but managed to hang on for 10 days. He passed away on April 2, Good Friday. I know this prayer prepared him for his next life...
