I did see this exhibition and thoroughly enjoyed it. Many of his paintings capture rural life in the 1960s and 70s. Uprooted trees allow sunlight into the forest and decay enriching the soil. When livestock dies they too are returned to the earth. Our climate can be harsh and frightening however life goes on. There is nothing more dangerous than a buzz saw, but it was once the best way to rapidly produce firewood. I suppose that what is really unsettling is that our society has lost touch of the lives of our parents and grandparents. But of course this is merely my humble interpretation. Gotta find the artist's, and Kyle's, sense of humor in "The Cat Museum. Thank you for this exhibition.

Jaime's work has long existed in the shadows of his father's and grandfather's craft throughout most of Jaime's life.....the "Jaime era" has arrived and I am eagerly anticipating all that lies around the next corner...as Jaime's accounts of the world which surrounds us comes to life in carefully curated collections at Brandywine River Museum!!!
